When members of my family started playing Harvest Moon, here's what happened:
My Uncle: Threw fish at people. (Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland)
My Dad: Couldn't open doors for a while and messed up the location for the event where you and Gwen see the weasel. (Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland)
My Aunt: Beat up the chickens in Ronald's chicken coop with a hoe and sickle. On purpose. (Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland)
My Little Brother: Set the record for most dead animals. (Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland)
My Little Sister: Lost her kid and it took her a whole day to find it again. (Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life)
*My Grandmother: Stalked Gustafa all the way to his house and then kept knocking on the door every two seconds until dawn, and then had the cow doing deep knee bends. (Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life)

I do have relatives who played Harvest Moon, but nothing abnormal. I guess I would have to say that I was that relative.
One thing I did was use a sickle on the horse thinking it was a brush rofl

One thing I did was use a sickle on the horse thinking it was a brush rofl I've done that with my cow. My mom teases me about it every time I tell her I'm going to play HM. My relatives haven't really played HM at all, but in showing my aunt how to play, I killed my chicken by forgetting to feed it. Acctually, it was my brother's chicken. He's never let it go since.

I keep waiting for the animals disappear and leave a meesage; Dear Jack, we've all gone away and won't come back until you've met our demands. We want to be fed everyday, have sharp objects at least 100 yards from us at all times, not have to watch that kid of yours anymore . . .

I don't let anyone touch my games. Especially after my friend saved over my file for HM:BTN that I had been working on for almost two years. My wife was even pregnant! Murderers. mad (is still a little bitter)

Friend: Wasted three hours running in circles. (Boy and Girl: Back to Nature for PSP)
I do not let ANYONE touch my game and do anything to it. My little Harvest Moon is too important for me. Oh, and my dad had me name a ROOSTER after my older SISTER. Although my sister's don't care anything about the game.

When my husband started watching me play it he wanted to but without all of the work. He wanted me to clear away his farm and raise the animals. After I did that he took over so he could court all the girls. (Back To Nature)

yeah my dad named a chicken in 64..i came back from going in the other room and he had played for like a month and saved..who knows what else had gone on..(he didnt mean to save surprised )

My brother thought that you could eat grass, thinking it was lettuce [MM]
My sister married Leia, and she got blown away in a hurricane [DS]
Needless to say, she started a new file and is planning on being married Keria now.
Weird thing I did...
I actually married Mary in FoMT.

Wow, you guys have some wicked experience. My brother also sold his horse because he couldn't find it anywhere in MM. I still don't know how you can loose an animal that big with a radar though . . . He also didn't get the pig when he bought his barn (?). And that's all I can think of that happened recently.

My Sister: Loves it biggrin
My other sister: "OMG my cow's a fat @$$!" Cause she fed it like 6 times and it was STILL hungry sweatdrop (AnWL)
My friend: names all her animals after food rolleyes
