I remember when my brother was into Starcraft and we had dial up, which meant no phone for the weekends.

I don't remember Dial-up, I do have a Modem that acts as an pretty good Emulator for, at times, a 10k a second Dial up, even though Friggen Qwest promised it to be 300K.

I used a 9600 baud modem to connect to AOHell
back i early 90's .....now that was sloooooooooooooooow!

I remember having a 56k connection when playing Diablo. I was the only one who could legitimately hack other peoples accounts/dupe with out getting kicked off the server for an extended amount of time.
