girl tuba players can sometimes be the best, but also be the most rarest tuba player to find. in many places finding the typical tuba stereotype (a fat geek with tape on the glasses and wears a plad shirt, etc) is easier to find, any GIRL tuba players, or if u know one from your school represent!! im a girl tuba player and there is another girl in my section, first time in history that there are two girl tuba players lol well that i know of in my school!!

my brother plays tuba,
there was a girl who played tuba at a nother school in my district
she was thinner then me O_o

My friend and I play the Tuba, we're both girls, and it's awesome!
We're among the strongest chicks in the band!
xD
People look at us and wonder why we're so strong.
Are you short?
All the girls I've seen that play Tuba are short, I'm not sure why.
Just asking for a little bit of statistics.

I'm a chick and i play Tuba..my section leader is a chick and she plays Tuba too. We have 5 Tuba players and 3 of em' are guys too...
I find most Tuba players to be blonde..xP
And i'm not short...i'm around 5'7 ish. But my section leader, now SHE is short.

I play the tuba!!!!! It's cool because my big sister who is now in college played the tuba in the high school band i'm now in! And even though my little bro aint a girl, he plays tuba in beginner band. we have a whole line of tuba players!!!!

hello all. I'm a female tubist, yo. ;D
And I'm 5'2", marking myself as the shortest one in my section, by at least four inches. Melanie, the other girl in my section, is about 5'5" I'm guessing?
Last year there were two girls as well, Melanie, and Kristen. Kristen graduated though. So now during marching season it's me, melanie, and six guys. I have to say, I look quite rediculous, considering the two section leaders and ben are at least 6' tall...xD.
