I can understand why people would hate her, cause her sounds could be annoying, I suppose, to some people, but not to me. She was a big help. I liked having her around.

But Midna was much much better. Navi lacked attitude, except in OoT manga.

Very much agreed here, except the awful part. Navi never helped me, she just said to go someplace I was about to go to. Midna actually helped me, and she's awesome! One of the series best original characters.

Navi is so annoying to me, I'd put her in a box and wouldn't feel too guilty walking away. But I wouldn't say hate...

Navi... meh. I don't like or hate her. You can't deny that she can be helpful... sometimes.

At first Navi was really useful if you were beginning to play Zelda games but after a while she got annoying. She'd pop up everywhere telling you how to do simple things and would bug you if you didn't do things fast enough.... I will forever hear her saying "HEY!!! Listen!!!"
I'm so happy she got replaced with Midna, she's MUCH cooler mrgreen

The first two times through the game she was really helpful, once I got past Gohma th third time, I couldn't take it any more, ever since then I played with the sound muted, I didn't get to listen to the nice songs

Tatl from MM was better, she was basically the sam thing, but she was more of a low ringing then a loud HEY LISTEN which could occasionally surprise youand make you get killed or fall off a ledge.

Like many would suggest, I did wanted to have an option to turn off Navi. She's freakin' annoying, but at least she's a lifesaver for newbies. That said, I don't like the idea of her telling me a glaring hint for a puzzle, or something that I already know by seeing it. "This switch looks rusted." SHEESH!! Just because we are a team, doesn't mean we have to act like Batman & Robin!

As for Midna, her story more than makes up for her gibberish voice. And besides, she pops up when you need her, NOT when it's time to scream HEY! LISTEN!!

I look back at this.....i dont hate her.....cuz i dont hate anybody....but those who dis me, my friends, and family.....but she sure is annoying

I almost became deaf hearing her voice so many times. >_>

Her repeating voice is just as annoying as the Amreican episodes of LoZ.
