my favorite guitarist personally would have to be slash. i love how he incorporates his bluesy style into all of his solos and how much emotion he puts into them. i like many other guitarists as well, including:
-BB king
-angus young
-george lynch
-randy rhodes
-zakk wylde
-marcus henderson
-SRV
-kirk hammett
-james hetfield
-jimi hendrix
-synyster gates
-all the guitar players in iron maiden lol

but i think kirk hammett kicks some serious a** to, as well as the guitarists from juddist preist and maiden. preaty much and trash guitarist.

kasacoon mine is daron malakian. but i think kirk hammett kicks some serious a** to, as well as the guitarists from juddist preist and maiden. preaty much and trash guitarist. i agree, glenn tipton from judas priest can really rock those speed metal solos.

My favorites are Brian Hanner (Synyster Gates) Zacky Vengeance, Syu from Galneryus, Hide from X-JAPAN (RIP Hide...) and some others are good too, but those be my favorites..!
EDIT: Paul Gilbert! And the one video I saw from Micheal Angelo Batio was amazing...

My favorite is John Frusciante.I know people say he is overrated and he cant play like Vai or satch but they actually saw him play and he blew them away. SO TAKE THAT FROOSH HATERS!!!!o and EVH is my second favorite
