This is frustrating.
Why can't they just play a show somewhere closer?

Panic! At The Disco is playing in the Netherlands on March 7th! I just checked the trains... it would take 3 hours and 20 minutes and I'd have to switch trains four times.... so I'd have to skip school that day. And there's no trains home until the next morning! gonk But I wanna go so bad. I can't miss Panic! being in Europe... who knows when they'll be back again?! Why oh why did I just buy tickets to PWT's?! Now none of my friends are gonna be allowed to go to Panic! with me since they're going to a concert in February gonk

This is how I found out:

It's funny xp
One: Okay, Brent left the band like forever ago. UPDATE THE FRICKIN PICTURE!
Two: the text says:

Quote:
One of the most popular rockbands of 2006 is the American Panic! At The Disco. Their striking success story is closely connected to Myspace. Even before the release of their official album 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out', they had hundreds of thousands of fans. Aside from the iron-strong songs, mix of emopunk, technobeats and cans of synthesizers, singer Brendon Urie is the band's best asset.

I love Brendon, but come on, let's give the rest of the band some credit too! mad D domokun

I'm not sure what to do. Beg my parents to let me go, or wait a bit and hope they'll add some tour dates closer by...
The concert costs like 30 euros.. and the train will be expensive. And I don't know what the hell I'd do to get home... hang out in a train station all night? Doesn't sound smart. Doesn't sound like anything my parents would ever let me do xp gonk

O: Its lucky for the people that are going :c I'm jealous XP
Seriously :c update the picture. They are going to make Jon feel like they don't like him as much as Brent :c
and true, give the band credit :c

Brent... burning_eyes
I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to have a show in Europe but who knows where it will be.

If I were you, I wouldn't go. I mean, it's really far, and even if it might be worth the money, there is still a big chance that they'll be visiting Europe again, most possibly in places on the west coast, around Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain, The UK, etc.
3nodding
And I probably also won't go considering that I have never gone to a concert before.
But I guess it all depends on how big their next album gets, if it's a huge success, I'm pretty sure they'll be going to Europe again. I mean, Europe is made of pure awesome-ness. Who wouldn't want to go there?
xd
EDIT: But you should still give it a try and ask your parents. You can probably take the bus or something home?

Every concert I've ever been to has been at least three hours away xp domokun That's 'cause I live in the middle of nowhere and bands never come here sad

I asked my mom, she said I could go as long as I could find people to go with surprised I didn't tell her about the slight problem with trains though xp
I don't think I can take a bus.. maybe though. I could always walk! domokun

I know it's far and maybe it seems crazy. But if after this, they don't play a show around here for a long time, I'll be upset about missing them. Then again, if I do go and then they have a show close by, after they release their album, I'll be upset for not waiting. 'Cause I want to see them play their new songs!

So I don't know what to do.

>< 3 hours away. That stinks :c.
The concert places are usually 30-50 minutes away from me. (They are usually in the Strip) Plus Vegas seems so small to me because it doesn't take that long ><

The venues are usually 20 minutes away for me...but I feel really bad for you, Poly. sad

Hey, I thought Pukkelpop was in Belgium.

Pukkelpop is in Belgium.. but it's also three hours away. It's right near the border with the Netherlands...

Poly, I bet they are going to add more Europe tour dates, even if it's just one or two. surprised I mean, they only have five scheduled right now. It almost seems like a waste for them to go to another continent and only play five shows, four of them being in the same country. If I were you, I wouldn't give my hopes up just yet. 3nodding heart You never know...they might add a show that's right in Belgium or something. ;D

Hmm hopefully.

But if they don't add more shows... then do I go or not? That's the dilemma. Because if I don't go, and then they don't come back for really long, I'll be mad at myself for missing it. But if I do go, and then in a few months they're back in Europe, after they release the album and playing a show closer by... I'll be mad at myself for not waiting xp

But I don't think I'd find anyone to go with anyway sad

Well, it's really up to you. I mean...after they do that European tour...they'll tour the United States, of course. And then they'll go back to Europe. So, you either see them in the spring or in the summer. If you see them in the spring, you'll have to miss school, but you'll be one of the first people to ever hear their new album live. If you wait until summer, you won't have to miss school and theres a chance that the show might be a lot closer to where you live. Or, you could go to both, even though it's expensive. domokun heart

I'm sure you could find someone to go with you. 3nodding

None of my friends would ever be allowed to miss school for a concert. My school is too strict for that, and so are parents. Plus I don't think any of their parents would let them go off to another country without any adult supervision just for a concert... especially if we don't even know how we'd get home.

Ticket sales for it aren't until January 5th... I'm gonna wait a bit longer and hopefully they'll have added more shows.

If not though.. there's no harm in asking everyone I know to see if anyone is even allowed to go...

Yes, that's certainly a better idea...
Or maybe you can like, fly over here to North America and crash in at Prime's house during the summer to go to a Panic! concert?
razz
Nah, I doubt that would happen, lol.

I probably am going to America during the summer... but I don't think I can just crash in at Prime's house xp
