I have a question. I've been trying to get a Spectral Tiger since I heard about them, and I've bought every FoO pack i could afford to find it. Imagine my dismay when the only store here that sold them, stopped selling them. For weeks I saw not one WoW pack on the shelf. Finally, a few days ago, I noticed two, (yes two!), packs on the shelf! I grabbed them both in the hopes that one would give me the card I've been searching for for so long... I opened the first, no dice. I open the second...
I GOT MY MUCH COVETED SPECTRAL TIGER CARD! W00T!!!
But wait... There's no code strip. It's not marked as a loot card at all! It's just a Spectral Tiger CARD!! I feel so cheated! I didn't know there were normal cards that look like the loot cards too! Or is it that when a new set comes out, they stop making them as loot cards? crying crying
Oh, the universe loves to taunt me so...

Heh, ouch. Yeah, there are non-loot versions of the loot cards. I have a both versions of the turtle card from the first set.
Sorry to hear about your near-good luck, though. Spectral Tiger is easily one of the rarer cards.

Void Dragoon Heh, ouch. Yeah, there are non-loot versions of the loot cards. I have a both versions of the turtle card from the first set.
Sorry to hear about your near-good luck, though. Spectral Tiger is easily one of the rarer cards.

I've been wanting to get into the WoW TCG, but I decided against it for the time being when one of my TCG Otaku friends said that to even get a DECENT deck running, you have to spend, easily, 300 dollars.
Screw that. Pokemon FTW. xd

The Spectral Tiger code runs on eBay close to a grand. My buddy has one, lucky ******** biggrin
But yeah I have 2 starter sets from the first series, 2 of the Dark Portal decks, and the Ony Raid deck...so far my favourite decks are my druid deck, my warrior deck (******** GOREBELLY) and my warlock deck.

I like the art on the cards.. I like buying the cards in the hopes of actually getting a Loot Card.. But I have absolutely no clue of an idea on how to actually play the game. And yes, I have read the instructions. About five times now. lol

I've been wanting to get the spectral ones so bad D: Didnt consider trying to find the card till recently. I think I'll just buy a pack every now and then and see what happens but choose not to dedicate myself to it.

Last year this very month I opened a booster pack and got the hippogriff pet. In school. I slipped a HOLY s**t! in the halls.
But, it was x-mas. I gave the card to my best friend. She still plays and has the baby out sometimes. <3 ( Lolz, the other day an azure whelp dropped for me and I gave her that too. )
The spectral tiger seems cool but... Eh. It's a tiger. I only go WOW because I think of how much money people are spending on these cards. *And rides a WS mount because armor is uglyz*
...The max I'd pay is 20 bucks. Which is how much I got for my tabard of flame from a shop. I wish I had more points to get the tabard of frost again for my main. It's so pretty. <3

I collect the TCG avidly, since I'm not too interested in the latest Magic expansion, and I've always been attracted to almost any form of collectible game. (Usually I find out about them after they've stopped being popular, so I can get a lot of packs really cheap mrgreen ).
I only have one loot card currently (Rest and Relaxation, the picnic blanket / umbrella / grill), and I haven't used it yet - not completely sure why not xP What I really want is two of the three newer loot cards: the Rocket Chicken and the Paper Airplanes. (I got a non-loot Paper Airplane card in one of the first MotL packs I opened -- Barber, I feel your pain crying )

I don't know why everybody is buying the TCG for loots. You should only do it because you love card games. The loots should just be for the people who avidly play the card game and not just buy the packs for the loots. I mean, there are a lot of expensive cards, but aren't loot, so the people who want the loots might go right past them. Besides, Spectral Tiger was in the DP set, so you can only get them from people that have them, because DP was discontinued because of MotL.

Say, would any of you be willing to part with some of your WoW cards? I'm willing to trade cards from other TCGs that I have for 'em. I've got some M:TG cards, a load of MegaMan and a fair supply of Pokemon.

I still have every single card I bought that came in the pack.. I have my very own piece of Gabe (Penny Arcade) art. xd

I think those tigers look beautiful, and being a Horde in BC the ZF tiger is out of the question.
Its my only way to get the mount that i like best.. i envy alliance for that reason only haha smile
