While we're on the topic of what comes out of random boxes, what about the OMG boxes? Do they only give things from the Gift Shop or is it always something that is equal to 43 Gaia Cash?

the box will give you any shop item as long as it equals 49cash.and you can get old cash shop items to. first gens and stuff like that.i have heard of some people getting old event items... sweatdrop but i dont think thats true.

I wasted about 20k on two OMG boxes, I got a wig in one and a sacred leaf in the other, so all in all it's a big gamble. @_@

Hanging around long enough in the GCD showed me that it's easier to sell the chests, giftboxes and boxes as is, saving up and then buying the specific item, instead of getting in bulk and feeling lucky.
Unless you're into House items...sell it.
