Okay I hate to make decisions by myself but I am trying to figure out which would be the better game to get myself for Christmas. Guitar Hero three or Rock Band. I mean I've mastered guitar hero at my cousins's but the idea of playing drums and singing along with the guitar playing intrigues me. Any ideas?

Get Rock Band. Why? Well, developer Harmonix basically ditched Guitar Hero, and gave the license to someone else, so Harmonix put its original "talent" (if that's what you want to call it) into Rock Band. I never liked Guitar Hero, because 1. I never was a fan of music games and 2. it's basically an excuse to mindlessly press some buttons, and get a really bad case of Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome afterwards. Also, Rock Band has better songs, and the extra "band" option to play not only a guitar this time around, but also drums, vocal, and a keyboard make for an enjoyable multiplayer/co-op experience. This option also adds more replay value.

i agree with Zombicide.
as much as i loved guitar hero, i think rock band will be so much better because you get to play guitar, drums, and vocals. (seriously what more could you want)
