A small sign is propped up in the town square. On it, is a crude picture of what seems to be a person, standing next to a statue made of metal, and another statue, this one shaped as a spider. On the top, it says ((in quite crude handwriting... Apparently someone's not good with a brush >.>)):

Hail Adventurers!

Looking for something to do?
Need a break from the dungeoneering?
Want to fight without a loss (or prize)
Then come on down to the eastern side of town
As an old shop is re-opening to the public
And although nothing's for sale... Yet.
I will personally like to invite you all to a little 'game'
No entery Fee... But sadly no prize either
All fun and games
[writen in small writing down at the bottom]A donation would be nice... Fixing these [dwarven curse] golems are quite costly ((on my health))

It also says the adress on the bottom.

~!~

The store's street face in question, is a large wooden building with boarded up widows, peeling moss, and a large patched up hole in a wall. The second floor however, is in very good condition, as you can see that someone's been cleaning the moss off. And the windows are glass too! Upstairs, you see abit of movement; seems somebody is moving back and forth fom the upstairs, to the shop.

A sign at the top says that the origional store owner has left to find treasure, and Bellamin has bought the second floor to use as a residence. He has also been given the job to make sure that all the golems and such are in good condition. Unfortunately he's had to figure how to repair golems by himself. And paper golems... Man, so easy to repair, but so hard to do it without an explosion!

Another sign is hung from the front door. 'The Golem Games' as it's called, is open.

Here's the name of the game:

You can deal with this game anytime and any ammount of tries you wish... Although I hope you save some time for other people. Simply post your team/your stats and I'll get to your game.

Okay, there are five games to try, two have four modes, two special ones are stuck with a variety choice, and one has two special modes. Each game's golems will only come after the previous wave is dealt with; they will not come until you destroy the golem(s) you're facing. Also, your MP and AP reset between waves, and luckily for you, so does your determination to win (Hp). Please note the golem bosses for the 'Shuffled Playlist' are determined randomly

~SOLO~
The first game, is solo fight. This is you vs. the golems, which will be ten rounds, and then a golem boss, and then a special boss of your random choice. Team attack is off for an equal footing. You can chose between four modes of combat:

Solo Rock Wrapper - All cog warriors
Solo Paper Cutter - All paper golems
Solo Scissor Bash - All clock-work spiders
Solo Shuffled playlist - All of them, working together

~DOUBLE ATTACK~

This game, you can make teams of two, ((perferably not here when there's somebody trying)) and compete in the game. This is twenty rounds of straight-up chthulu! Like solo, you can choose between the four types of game modes. However, be warned that you will face two golem bosses, and two special bosses. The two special bosses you get to 'pick, while the golem bosses are decided on your gameplay. You choose paper, you get paper! Please note that team attack is optional, and please tell me if you would like that. The default is no team attack.

Team Rock Wrapper - All cog warriors x2
Team Paper Cutter - All paper golems x2
Team Scissor Bash - All clock-work spiders x2
Team Shuffled playlist - All of them, working together x2

~LONE WOLF GOLEM FRENZY~

This is the frenzy that is DOUBLE ATTACK, alone. The golems will not use team-attack for the reason of fairness. Please not that this comes only in 'Shuffled playlist' versions. Also, the bosses come in two like the team competitions.

Lone Wolf Golem Frenzy - No choice, all of themx2! All by yourself

~SOLO SURVIVOR~

This game is one character, going agains a never ending cycle from the Solo game. Please not that this is only 'Shuffled Playlist' and is team attack off. Unlike the other games, you will only heal half or your maximum Hp round down, each wave. Please understand this happens that this heal will happen no matter what, you cannot save these heals up.

Solo Survivor - 'Shuffled playlist only!'

~TEAM SURVIVOR~

This is like Solo survivor, only with an extra extreme mode. This extra mode is exactly like Solo survivor, except that the Hp you regain is only 15 points between battles. These fifteen points you shall divide among yourselves, please refrain from being greedy. Please note that for the Protectors and Parasites mode, you get to keep your AP and MP

Team survivor. Dual sides - Both gain half their maximum Hp each round, no matter what.

Team survivor. Protecters and Parasites -Each round, you shall get only a 15 Hp points restore each battle. Which must be shared between yourselves, you do keep your AP and MP though. Please note that his is for a true team!

-Chorus of battle-
Here I record how far you went before you dropped ((Your best))

Vincent Valentine [1 try]: Although being tooken down by the combined forces of a cog warrior, and a clock-work spider at an unjust round 2, He has shown determination and strength when pressed against foes I unknowingly released. Foes which were way too strong, and out of order. For that, I commend him, as he would have lasted atleast to ROUND *7*, had I not flunked out on him... However, because of this, I allowed him a boss fight. Fighting the paper scorpion, he and Demetry took down the monstrosity. But in doing so, the scorpion fell his foes. Scorpion: -29/35. Vincent: -8/55. Demetry: -4/15

Arch-Mage Lazarus [1 try]: In a brilliant display of nuker magic and great karma, the mage blasted through rounds 1 to 9. On ROUND TEN, he met up with Vikkay, the Fine China Dragon. And despite the clear advantages, Laz still proceded to fight the dragon. For that, I commend him. Although he was tooken down, he had not only the courage to stand up against the dragon, but also the magickal powers to heavily injure one of this arena's most deadly champions. Vikkay: 13/50. Laz: -25/15

Disclamer: Please note that this is not cannon. Nor is anything of this.

THIS, is made up by a bored player in need of something to do cause I just want to. XP

All monsters are copy-right by [insert name of ficional company which Bellamim is employed to as a store-clerk while the real manager is gone adventuring]

Also note that I'm not a DM, there-fore treat me as an equal in all your insults as you find my mistakes. Also, this is not offically sanctioned by a DM, however, I've been told that as long as it fits the rules, I can make a thread in General RP forum soo.... Logic dictates that I can make this. Thank you come again.

And in the left corner...

[[Three large posters are stuck upon the wall outside the door, and you can see on inside.

There are six golems this former company used to make, and it seems Bellamin has tooken them up when the store-owner has left for adventure. It seems from the text, that these are the base-models

There are all the schematics, notes, and drawings of the three golems they used to make. You doubt Bellamin would be allowed to sell any.
]]

A strange creation, paper golems are great soldiers due to their ease of maintance and production. However, the magic bonds animating it also make the paper unstable. Too much damage, even a small rip, can blow apart the bonds; bathing everything in harmful magical fallout. This makes them great for seiges as they can be sent in to not only kill opponents, but also blow apart the defense. Also, they're cheaper than the old 'pig with explosive' tactic.

Slow moving behemoths, Cog men are perfect body guards. Being able to shrug off minor attacks, a cog man also can act as a shield for their masters. But, do not underestimate ones strength, as any harmful action to it or their masters, as this can send a spiked arm into your gut.

Stealthy, agile, and down right lethal, clock-work insects are the perfect fighters. Although they don't have as much as protection as the Cog counterparts, their razor sharp claws, spear-tipped legs, and spiked bodies make them extremely formidable. As a special bonus, their bodies house secret weapons.

The words beside the CP count are the way they act in combat. A focused monster will select one enemy which does the most damage, and finish them off. A defensive monster retaliates to any offensive actions before it attacks an enemy which is doing nothing. A bezerker monster attacks a random enemy each time.

Bellamin sets up the last few displays the way the emloyee manual depicts. He goes to the door, and opens it with a kick.

"OPEN!"

"Hello Bellamin! It would be my honor to join in your games." Vincent smiles as he raises his sword, "I think I'll go for the solo mission. Seems more my style."

((btw, for solo combat, are tokens allowed? Or is it a truly solo match?))
PostPosted: Sun Dec 09, 2007 12:16 pm

((Well, the thing is... It's unsanctioned, so all of this is non cannon. So if you use any charges, you will lose the charge only here... But the real world is not gone))

"Sure thing! Any preference?" Bellamin opened the door and showed him in. Three golem designs stood still in the warm sunlight from the windows. He smirked. "Or would you go for random mixed?"

"Okay! Bellamin led Vincent to an enclosed area inside the building. Along the way, you see many odd alchemical items, golem schematics, and large diagrams of various things. "Sid likes to keep allot of stuff." Bellamin had said. The spellsword shoves you into an enclosed arena. The glass simply radiates with magic protection spells. "I bet you wont get past the third round. Said Bellamin as he pulled a random lever. One of the cages opens up, you can't see what's in there.

A large blast of magical energy smashes you. stepping out of the shadows, is a tall, slim man made out of paper.

"Atta boy! Get 'im!"

It casts energyburst on you. Because of it's stiffness it can't do much else.

Vincent drinks one of his two potions and begins a simple breathing exercise as he steps into the enclosed area. Just in time the drink takes effect as the energy blast rips into him. Vincent closes his eyes as the blast hits, then charges forward with a simple swipe that rips the creature in two.

What's left of the paper man starts to glow a fait blue... With the last remaining vestige of power it had, it let out a pulsar or randomly traveling magic. This last pulsar does 9 damage to you, but is unable to take you down. Vincent moves onto round two!

((Mind if I roll the monster generater dice in real life after this wave? I realized how tedious it can get))

Bellamin orders one paper man with a sword to clean up the remains. When that was done, he readied himself to pulled another lever.

"You sure about this? It'll be mighty hard on you"

Go on to round 2
Or ask about the paper man with a sword.
Forfeit ((obviously not, cause this has no consumtion or cannon))

Out from the darkest depths of the monster corner, crawled a spider-like golem. Behind it, was a large clock-work man... Although some of the cogs seemed to be made out of dishes.
