yeah
i'm new
just started today
and i wanna know everything u ppl can tell me about .hack
ppl have asked me several times if my username had anything to do with .hack and i became confused cuz i didn't know what they ment
so it would be helpful if u ppl could tell me everything you know

"Black Rose" is the name of a character in the first four .hack games(Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine), so thats why people ask about your username.
Now, .hack storyline begins with the manga: .hack//AI Buster. After that comes the anime: .hack//SIGN, and after that you can read .hack//Zero if you want to (tough you don't really need to since its not necessary to understand the storyline), and after that you play the first four games.
Then there are new games, the anime series: hack//Roots, and I can't tell you anything about those because I'm still playing .hack//Outbreak and haven't moved to that part of the story.
