Philly almost pulled a HUGE upset.
And you know, i wish they would of.

Now that other teams will use philly's strategy, do you think a team has a chance of winning?
What are your thoughts?

Every team is beatable, but I think it is very likely that the Patriots will go 19-0.

Eagles played great, but made 2 mistakes. 2 too many, if you are ever going to beat the Patriots.

...I said this in another post.

Agreed. The Patriots defense controlled most of the game, the offense capitalized, and Brady did not fold into the pressure.

...If there is a team with the best chance of beating the Patriots in the regular season, it's the Steelers. The Steelers have the best overall defense (#1 against pass, #2 against run), and often control games and get into the opponents heads. Although the Patriots have a better chance of winning the game, don't be too surprised if an upset blooms.

Other tough opponents may be the Ravens or the Giants, although I don't really see it happening. The Ravens are great on defense, but their stops won't matter as their offense will not be able to keep up with that of the Patriots. The Giants, on the other hand, have showed dominance in some games, and have been invisible in others. The Giants really need to get their act together to have any chance of winning, yet I don't see it happening with Eli's inconsistency.

...I also came up with a semi-plan:

As for a defensive plan, I would look to double Moss, bring the free-safety in on Welker, and keep a median distance on Stallworth. The strong safety would clean up, and I would bring in many blitzes. Also, notice that the Patriots haven't been using much of their tight ends lately, on the pass.

Don't look at Brady's eyes, as he tries to fool the defensive backs/safties/linebackers (and he is successful).

If you were to get beaten, let it happen my Faulk and Maroney, not Brady. The Pats haven't done much on the running-side of the ball, and need to even it out a bit to completely control the tempo of their games from here on in. Keep guessing on the runs, don't give in to the draw, and look at the distance of the runningback in the backfield.

That's what i'm saying.
Another team like the Colts, Packers, Jaguars, Chargers [if they'll quit with stupid mistakes]

One of them might have a good chance of beating the Patriots, using Phillys strategy.

I actually think that the Jaguars are the hottest AFC team, and could even be going to the AFC championship.

Come to think of it, they actually match up pretty well against the Patriots.

I hope Patriots dont win another game, if you havent figured yet, i hate the Patriots, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO SAY THEY SUCK.
I hate when people say they hate a team and then say they suck.
Even if its a team like the colts or packers.

I say the Colts will knock the Pats out of the playoffs. Harrison is not going to miss the rematch.

Oh and the Jets will beat them using magic!

I think the Pats won't screw up like that in another game, now that they've had a wake-up call, they'll play without underestimating their opponents.

Jet's magic ?!?

...I see the Jets using that "magic" to lose to the Dolphins this upcoming week, giving the Dolphins their first win. A actually do believe that the Dolphins will beat the Jets.

Nah, no other team will use the Eagles strategy to win. The Pats will Mix up there game plan so that when the other teams play em, it wont work.

If I was the Pats, I'd work on Runs, and start throwing the Ball a bit to Kyle Brady. Also, I'd try get get Moss some help bye adding another WR Next to him, Such as Welker, So that Moss will have a chance to make plays, as the CB and Safteys will have to worry about Both of them. =)

But Welker kills in the slot, and is like an Antonio Gates type player. Although a receiver, he is like a big tight end who is very fast, with good hands. I agree, Brady and the tight ends need to get more involved.

Most importantly, Maroney and Faulk need to get more involved to stretch the opposing defenses.
