Ok, the problem is, no matter how short my signature is, the site always tells me that it is '257 characters long'. Even if I simply change one character in my current signature, it will tell me that it is over the correct amount. Without modifying my signature in any way from what it is now I can press submit, and still be told it is 257 characters.

Can somebody please explain to me how in the hell this -

You know, if everyone reading donated 100 gold, it would still take a very long time to get those damn Horns.

- is possibly over 255 characters long? Word tells me it is 249 with spaces, and yet Gaia is saying 257 still.

Thank you, that worked! I could only change the first url though, the second one became 'malformed' confused I'm a little concerned that the next time I go to change it though I will be 'over' the limit again. This has happened in the past to me.
