It seems to me that he remembered what he did, but didn't remember the conversation.

Speaking of, I love the bit about the beard rofl I laughed out loud and messaged a friend with "Moffatt totally just outed the Master!" What a brilliant mini-episode. I've seen it three times and the last couple lines make me tear up more each time I watch them. "You were my Doctor." and "All my love to long ago." *sniff*

I've watched it about a million times, even put it on my profile. ^_^ I love how 10 just on and on and on.
"Hey, I'm the Doctor, I can save the univers with a kettle and some string, and look at me, I'm wearing a vegitable." rofl

I caught it. 10 didn't want to say what happened with them.
My mom busted up on these lines.
"Take a close look" "No." "Yes." "Oh, no." "Oh, yes." "A fan." "Yes a..... WHAT?!"

I loved this! It was absolutely brilliant!
I got the impression that the whole bit about "you were my Doctor" was half Ten and half David Tennant himself. It was definitely one of those reaching across the generations moments that make me all warm and fuzzy inside. 4laugh

It did seem a bit of a drop of the fourth wall where the actor was speaking to the Doctor.

Am I wrong or do the actors playing the Doctor have some say in their wardrobe? I got that Impression from hearing that Eccelston wanted his Doctor to be less about wardrobe and more about personality. If that's the case then all the wardrobe references 10 made in the CIN special make alot of sense on the actor's level. (don't know If I'm making sense right now... It sounds right in my head but i don't know if it does typed.)
