Well...
all of last week (because of the autumn themed EVENT and all, I was wishing that there was an item that was a pile of leaves.
=o
Crazy.
But I'm not fond of the animal things... I guess I just don't like big accessories that don't match you're avatar.
Like those darn puppy things that everyone wears with the pink skirt and it doesn't match and I refuse to tektek....

i really enjoy both of the items, but you can tell from my avatar i really like the autumn glory item. it fits so well into a majority of items i own. also, i really like the animal (wild things) item. my only issue with it is the item is incredibly huge and takes up nearly the entire avatar. however, the issue i just described can be easily fixed by simply placing the avatar in a seated position. that way, with the exception of the roc/bird item, the wild things item goes behind the avatar, so the item in itself doesn't necessarily have to obstruct the entire avatar image. and aside from that factor, i think it is a clever idea, and i have plans to wear it in the future.
@ winterbean - lol, i see your point but that's what it's like with a majority of collectible items. people obtain monthly collectible item(s) and wear it simply for the sake of wearing a monthly collectible item irregardless if it doesn't match the avatar outfit or makes the avatar outfit too cluttered. as for myself, i try to incorporate only collectibles that happen to accurately reflect the avatar i'm currently wearing. for instance, i love that little mochi puppy item that you mentioned, however, my affection for the item doesn't cause me to wear it with every single avatar i own. i only equip that item when wearing brown, neutral colors that directly complement the colors found in that item.

I dunno... I understand that a lot of people are probably psyched about the animals, but I don't like them much at all.They look good alone, but terrible attached to an avatar.
The leaves are pretty cool, though.

The animal item is very well made, but I don't think it's something I'd end up using. I love the Autumn MC, finally something colorful and bright. =]
