The Dark Forest

[The Almighty Ali]

A good distance from the lake, there is a large forest where the sun rarely penetrates through the thick leaves, it's a forest with a constant light fog due to the moisture and with a variety of life that rarely leaves. At nights the forests are filled with all sorts of beasts, wolves the size of SUVs, Wandering dead who has awakened in the nearby Graveyard and wandered inside in search of food, Goat men who lives in caves at unmarked locations and do not like strangers. There is also rumors to be a pack of Unicorns somewhere in the forest but it has never been confirmed.

*Deep down in the darkness of the woods, there was a boy, hiding from the rays of the sun, living with the beasts. It was Ask, son of Vulpes and Alley, he had run away from home, from the common civilisation of Aliator's lab and humanity in itself. Solitude with monsters had become his new lifestyle.*

*Zargs, Ali's first General were outside the castle for once after his room had begun to get boring to stay in, Also rain season had begun and those awful sprinklers were noisy. Because of this he had wandered until he found the most secluded forest, maybe he could even get himself some really fresh meat.*  

[Ask Vulpino]

*The young boy sat under a giant rotting tree, secluded from the raindrops coming down from the sky, waiting for something to walk into one of his hunting traps*

* Zargs were just about to jump a rabbit as he suddenly felt something wrapping around his right foot, before he could react he was pulled off his feet and hanging upside down from a branch, by one of the most primitive traps ever created and with a ego that now was shattered.* What issss thisss!?  

[Ask Vulpino]

*One of the bellflowers rang as something had gotten into one of his traps. Bringing a sharp knife in his hand, he went to see what it was. It could be a monster, or it could be an edible animal.*  

[Nordlys]

*Bebadora let her feet sink into the ground. It was a feeling she had missed. Sure there's was food and warmth in the Old mans castle, but she was surrounded by stone. Besides, he would keep Funny-Ears busy if he showed up, right? Bebadora danced through the forest. She had not had this feeling in a long time. This wonderful solitude.*

* Starting to move his body back and fourth, Zargs eventually managed to swing himself until his clawed hands managed to grab onto the tree itself. Climbing upwards until he could reach the branch and then moving outwards towards the rope, Whoever put this trap up was gonna get a beating real bad.*  

[Ask Vulpino]

*Ask saw the beast in human clothings, it was awsome to watch it's movements, but the young boy had become very hungry. He climbed ontop of a large rock and plunged towards the beast, holding the knife infront of him with both hands.* DIE! Food!

*Zargs simply turned his body and used his tail as a club, timing it perfectly with the boy who had to scream and reveal himself like that.*

*Bebadora let it all go. This was just such a glorious feeling. The wetness of the air, the smell from the trees. She had come to miss this. She hummed a song as she skipped along. She could hear a brook somewhere near. Suddenly a pain shot up from her foot, and she screamed as she fell over on the wet moss.*  

[Ask Vulpino]

*Ask was hit and flew far through the woods, he was lucky not to hit any direct branches, but he did hit a large tree log and fell down on the moss below. Clearly, the boy was in pain* Ouch...  

[Nordlys]

*She looked down her foot and let her fingers touch where it hurt. She felt the cold of metall that dug into the flesh, and the warm flowing blood. Suddenly something hit the log next too her. Bebadora licked the blood of her fingers and crawled towards it.*  

[Ask Vulpino]

Who's there? *His eyes got fuzzy from the hit, but as soon as it cleared, he saw a girl infront of him* Who are you?  

[Nordlys]

*Bebadora narrowed her eyes. It was a human. And a boy. Not much meat on him either. Not that that mattered right now, now that she was wounded. Her face flickered in pain as she dragged her bleeding leg closer.* Bebadora is hurt. This. . . .metal bites Bebadora's leg. Can you help? *Her fingers closed around a branch on the ground. Just in case.*
