I basically wanted to know what people thought about the new HP movie that is coming out next November 08. Does anybody know which new actors are going to be in it? Basically is there any news about it?

There are some new pictures of Hagrids Hut online XD

I am so very excited about the movie. I heard that they have cast someone as Narcissa (Helen McCrory), and that Makani is not pleased. And we all know that Jim Broadbent is Slughorn yes?

Yeah, over at Pottercast they are talking about the Cave scene, how that is being filmed right now or something, and how they have given Dumbledore a prosthetic hand/ cgi hand (cant remember) So yes!

And Nicholas Hooper is back to score. I cant say whether i am pleased. I would have preferred it to be John Williams, because that man is god. But he is better than Patrick Doyle. Most of the new themes he created were wonderful (aka Umbrdge theme, Order of the Pheonix theme etc) but Possession was not good, and that was a DARK theme, so I dont know how he may go with HBP, because of all the darkness.

And this may be off topic (but only slightly, as it still relates) how grown up has Matthew Lewis become. He just looks so mature and very wonderful. I would never have guessed that transformation in my wildest dreams from the first and second films, that he would bloom into this elegant, stunning man and leave all his co actors behind in his dust. So yes, Sixth Movie = much perving from me.
Hopefully they put in Nevilles past with his parents in this movie, just because I think they owe it to him, his character. And Snapes worst memory in all its fullness, with Lily. I cant believe they got rid of of the leading in to that guys one redeeming characteristic to put in more Umbridge and Filch gags!!!!!

But yes, all in all. Very excited because the Potter movies are always fun, even if its to scream and huff about all the crappy changes they made FOR NO REASON! I think that they make you appreciate the books even more. And they are good to unwind and its always nice to see something that played out in your head presented to you in reality.

does she look really old to anyone else?? Oh well. Whatever. I imagined Lavender to look more .. smaller face, not so strong features. confused

Oh, ugh. That looks nothing like the Lavender I envisioned. I cannot imagine her yelling, "Oh! Won Won!"
I'm not expecting the movie to be very good anyway, but I am of course going to see it. Even though I'll come out as mad as I was when The Order of the Phoenix came out. Because, in my opinion, that movie was not good at all. (Though I was probably angrier with The Goblet of Fire because it didn't have Winky or the kitchens or S.P.E.W in it.)

I'm really excited about the HBP movie coming out. I read on Mugglenet that Helen McCory is playing Narcissa and Jessie Cave is playing Lavender.
She looks just like how I imagined Lavender.

oh I know, I watched GOF the other week because I could. I was so upset with all the changes (and at seeing Fred an George, knowing what was going to eventually happen to them). Like making Cedric a jerky jock, not the wonderful, compassionate soul that you just cant help but feel a sharp stab of pain for. He is Hufflepuff! Not Slytherin!!!!
They just got rid of so much! Like half of it, gone. But I am glad that they got rid of Harry throwing the badge at Rons head. Because that is my ultimate least favourite Harry moment. Boo

And the changes from OOTP. Not as bad as GOF, but I will never forgive them for getting rid of Nevilles parents story. I hate them so much for that, and Snapes worst memory, and the reason they cut Lily was because "it complicated things too much" ?????? What does that mean. They should have gotten rid of, say, the graveyard scene, because it also complicated things too much.

I so badly want a BBC mini series of this, like a twenty hour long series, going over the books perfetly, word for word. That would be my heaven

I completely agree! I would've loved to see Lockhart in the state he was supposed to be in! And it would've be quite funny/sad to see Mrs. Longbottom give Neville the gum wrapper.

My mom gets annoyed at me when I say all the things wrong with the movies, I stop talking whenever I realize she's not even listening anymore. The people who make the movies should be shamed for that.

One day there's going to be a giant angry mob of Harry Potter fans attacking them for doing something stupid with the movies. They had better have dead Aragog in the Half-Blood Prince movie! *twitch twitch*
