I suck at these! Otherwise I'd love art, but HELP! Like.. I can do the chibi ones, and real life ones, but.. Not the animated ones! @_@

Old thread, I know, but I hope to be of some help.
I'm not great at them either, but what I do is I take a rectangle-like shape (as opposed to the triangle my drawing teacher suggested) and bend it until it's in the position where I want to draw the hand. Then I round it out into an elongated egg shape (the wider end heading towards the wrist, but don't erase the rectangle, it's great for shading!), and then draw the fingers proportionately to the rest of the drawing.
