11.03.2007 - the ones who never yawn
the last post was 5.17.07… that’s definitely my bad... maybe my laptop fell into the river one day while I was drifting in my wood boat under the sun catching up on some reading… and yes, I should’ve gotten it replaced or went to the community library to write you from there. maybe that didn’t happen but I know for a fact that I haven’t had an update in over 5 months.
a lot has happened since I last wrote… we spent some time in the Nevada Mountains, which was a really great experience for us. you might have seen some pictures. If not, find them, we look pretty funny. we were also in California doing some demos for the record, which was a good time for us because it was the first time we actually got to here what the songs we were writing sounded like.
now it is November, we are 6 tracks into recording our new album, and I couldn’t be more excited. I came home to Chicago for the weekend for my moms surprise party (happy birthday Mom Walker) and now I am getting on an airplane and going to finish this record with the boys. I do apologize for disappearing for so long, we have been putting all of our time and focus into writing for this album. we have not and will never forget about all of you who make this band what it is. be back soon.

Guess what? Jon could have been eating flapjacks after all! Isn't it weird that he was in Chicago, and did have to get back to Vegas to finish recording with "the boys", just like we were talking about!
And this confirms that Jon really is random xp Talking about boats and reading...

Yeah, depends how many songs there will be... In a way I want to hope for like 20, 'cause that'd be a lot of new songs to enjoy.. but in a way I want to hope for less, so the album will be done sooner xp
