My day was pretty great. Really good. <333

Okay, so first hour wasn't that great. Mainly running, and I was running really fast (no clue why), so my face felt really sun-burnt and dried out and really really red. And my hair was really wet. >:

Second hour we got our Geometry tests back, and I got an 88%. D:< That makes me very mad. I should've got one question right, but my Geometry teacher's a butt. A really big butt that doesn't understand what he teaches and loves to play favorites. Srsly.

Third hour!!!! <3333 Hooray for Orchestra! We had chair auditions yesterday on a piece of music we basically started on Thursday of last week, and I'm...
THIRD CHAIR CELLO!!!<3333 And the b***h who took joy in stabbing me to death with her bow end (I'm VERY sure she sharpened it just for ME)got 7th. *yuuuuuuuusss*

Fourth hour!!! The German exchange student came to talk to my German class about the German school system, and he was awesome. Spoke really good English too. And when I asked if Blumchen was popular (she's a singer in Germany, does techno, I fink) he had no clue who she was. So I was slightly embarrassed.

Fifth hour was good. I worked on my history of the atom timeline with my lab partner who's pretty kewl. It's entitled The Evolution of Atom Kind and has the picture of man evolving from the monkey thing. xD

Sixth hour was Ceramics, and that was okay. We had to make a design to engrave on a tile, and we have to draw 21 designs (it's insane!) that involve symmetry and then 7 designs that are asymmetrically balanced. But I guess it's fun to just sit for 55 minutes and doodle.

And in English we wrote down stupid definitions for this method of writing essays, and according to my teacher we need to understand what they mean. But I had to really go really badly, and she let me, and I was happy, so I guess it's okay. So yeah.

How was everybody else's day? I LOVE long posts like this. <333333
Post/vent away!

My day? Pfft. Not wonderful. XD But I'll overlook it, since so many good things have happened lately. (Sam's talking to me, and Renny was online, and Sen's watching girl/girl so he's not a homophobe anymore I guess.)

But todaaaay...

Woke up, and it was POURING rain. P~oU~rInG~. You have like, no idea. And it still hasn't stopped. It's been like this since yesterday. X_x

First period: Physics. We have to do a report on a scientist. I chose Aristotle, 'cause I like Greek mythology, so... sliiight relation there. XD It's best to pick something that relates (at least a little) to things that you're interested in, right? So yeah, we went to the school library to research for that. I tried to do my algebra 2 homework, but the teacher caught me and made me put it away. XD

Second period: Economics/governmet (gov. right now). Not bad. We're learning about the House, Senate, Constitution, etc. I have about 7 more questions from the homework he gave us, though.

Third period: Spanish. Ugh. XD No me gusta espanol, chicas. I suck at it like, so bad. But it's okay, because everyone else in the class sucks at it too. The teacher gives us lists of 40 words and expects us to memorize them in a week. No foolin'. I'm not even exaggeratting; she REALLY gives us 40+ words. Buuut it was okay today. We played bingo with Spanish words, so I got a bunch of bonus points. (She was giving bonus points for it because the last test's average came out to being 13%. She's a nice person. Funny and all. She just can't teach, y'know?)

LUNCH: I finished my algebra homework, read a magazine, and ate almonds. It was cool. XD

Fourth period: History Arts (AKA the class that we learn about dead musicians in.) We had a test, and I didn't have ANY notes (I was out sick almost all of last week), but I think I did okay. Thank God for multiple choice. <3

Fifth period: ENGLSH!! ENGLISSSSHHHHH!! That is my CLASS, bitches!!
I love English class so much. XD It's seriously my favorite part of the school day. But yeah, we're working on our portfolios. Since I was in a different state before this year, I can't really do much with mine. He told me not to worry: that I had two of the four pieces already, and that we would be doing the other two in class at some point. So yeah, I'm good. XD I read my magazine and ate some more almonds.

Sixth period: Algebra 2. I'd finished my homwork up at lunch, so I was okay. XD We had a quiz, which I probably did okay on. And no homework for tonight! Yesss!!

Then I came home. Yay. XD

Today was okay. 2 tests tomorrow. 2 slightly major projects. I'm 'o be up til 12.
We had a drug talk and got to skip class, but the guy was extremely creepy! O.o
And I have so many math problems, I think my head will 'spload. And it's about stupid inequalities! gonk
PostPosted: Tue Oct 23, 2007 6:19 pm

First hour: Choir. My teacher is a b***h. 'nuff said
Second hour: Social Studies. Nothing much, we watched a movie and I doodled some and wrote in another one of my stories I will never ever finish.
Third hour: FOCUSSSSS. Nothing to do but sit and read the rest of Valiant. God that book was addicting.
Fourth hour: Science. Do you know how much I ******** hate this class? HATE.
Fifth hour: Math. Hate. HATE HATE HATEEEE. Did nothing but read Valiant becaue I didn't want to pay attention.
Sixth hour: SPANISH!!! Me llamo Teresa y yo soy artistica. Me gusta dibujarrrr!
Seventh: English. Best. Hour. EVER.

Ehh~ My day was good. The highlight of it is dance and a note I got. xD
Okay, here I go!

First Period (English) : Boring! I just worked with my partner on Latin work. It makes my head hurt. Oh, and I got to watch a mother hamster attack her young.

Second Period (Library Aide) : I just ate candy and watched T.V. xD I love that class.

Third Period (Science) : We had an test, so I spent most of my time measuring thigs and doing math...

Fourth Period (Algebra) : Eh~ we just went over problems and did a whole bunch of complicated... math... stuff.... yeah...

Lunch : I had chips and watched more T.V., and listened to music.

Fifth Period (History) : We had speeches and reports due, but our class spent more of the period eating candy and laughing.

Sixth Period (P.E. UGH!) : I had to run the track then I talked the rest of the time.

That's probably an average school day for me.

Oh, yay.
I love long posts and venting, too

Oookay, first of all, today was cold as s**t.
As in, so cold that students were actually early to class, just so that they
could get in to where it was "warmer".
Since my school is very open: the only enclosed places are the classrooms.
But most of that was the stupid wind.
But I'm fine with cold, because my venezolano gave me a
hug to "keep me warm" <33333
Warm? Baby, I practically melted in his arms.

First period: French. All we did was watch a stupid movie, but
I spent all the time doing homework, so it wasn't a complete waste.

Second period: History. It seemed to drag on foreeeeever.
I mean, one hour and a half felt like at least four hours.
But, I love history and the teacher's cool, so that was okay.

Third period: OVA {Orientacion a la Vida Academica [Orientation for
Academic Life, I guess]}. It was alright, but my teacher always cries in
class nowadays. She gets emotional when telling us how to be better people.

Fourth period: Free! A whole hour and a half to relaaax...not! I had to
spend it doing some stupid homework for computer class, which isn't
due until next Tuesday, but better sooner than later, right?

Fifth period: Computer class {Information Technologies, lol}. A definite
mixed bag of a class. I had to bear the rest of the class watching my
homework {a PowerPoint presentation about our favorite movie; what is
this, fourth grade or something?} I had to listen to classmates say that I
had "the perfect voice for one of those boring documentaries on the life
of the slug or something". But, at least I got a 100 on the presentation.
The bad part was that, after we saw all the presentations, we had a test.
And I had not studied at aaall.
So...I got a fifty on that {out of one hundred}.

Then, I had to hang around school and be bored for an entire hour
until my mom could come to pick me up.
But, I found a friend, who just that very moment had gotten a rather
rotten deal from the security guards. They had taken her laptop and
backpack because they thought that "somebody had left them there".
Even though she was still in the very same room, and only a few feet away.
So, she had to wait an entire hour, go all the way to the college side of
the school, go to locatec {lost and found} and ask for her stuff.
And the security guy had been a real d**k to her, so she was crying a little.

Then I got to play a little soccer with some friends and my venezolano,
and then I went home and started on my homework and stuff.

And that was my day.
Yay

Oooh, today was interesting.

I woke up at about eleven today, cuddling with my dad's Jack Russel. I got up, ate, showered, dressed and my uncle and me drove to Toronto.

We got my stepmom and headed to the orthodontist where I got my braces repaired and tightened.

And then we went back home where I ate and played with the dogs, and about 4:30 we drove back to Toronto to the Union Station, where I got on the train to go back home. D:

I was talking to my boyfriend the whole trip, cause his mom was being a b***h to him and he was walking around outside. And I had to explain a whole bunch of legal s**t to him because he wants to go and live with his dad. =_=

And then I got home, and I got on the computer and saw that my friend is back from the hospital. :]

And tomorrow me and my mom are going out to get leotards for my school uniform, cat ears for Halloween Non-Uni this Friday, and some bristol board for my English project.

I love to read. <3

@Val- I <3 almonds! And I'm sorry about the rain. I wish I had a 6 hour day! At our school we have 7 periods. Not fun. You should try German 'stead o' Spanish. Sprichst du Deutsch? Ich spreche Deutsch. Deutsch macht spass! ^.^
@Capt. Katinator- I'm sorry about the dumpage of big graded things on you. D: Doesn't sound fun to lose that much sleep over all those things. And hooray for pointless drug talks! And I would be more than happy to do your math homework.
@fauney- Ich habe gern Deutsch, nicht Spanisch. Ich bin sehr schnell auf Spanisch. D: But I'm glad you like English. : D
@DemonPlushie- Dancey dancey! ^.^ I wish I got notes. I never get them though. D:
@Shindig- I'm sorry it was so cold, it's pretty cold where I live too, and I hate cold. And nobody gives me hugs. ///.; But sounds like you had a good day. Yay!
@Grin Evilly- I want to get up at eleven! And cuddle with a doggy. Lucky. And I'm sorry 'bout the braces. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I hope your friend is doing well.

'N'ways, my day was pretty great. First violins had chairs auditions today, so I practiced on one of my friend's violin, and I can now play Mary had a Little Lamb and the very first part of Colors of the Wind pretty okay. We're thinking about giving each other lessons, so I could play the violin and she could play the piano and cello. And the kewt German guy who came to our class to talk about the German school system is concert master. So now I can stare at him as long as I want everyday. <33 So yeah.

How'd everybody else's day go?

Awww, -huggggs you-
I love the cold.
The cold and the rain.
ohmahgah, cute German guy, heh.
Want to send him over to Mexico? wink
...Naw, I'll just keep my venezolano, yay.

Oh, yay, another day to make a big long post out of.

Ummmm...today was also pretty darn cold, but no hugs from
my venezolano this time sad
Actually...I didn't even see him today!
Oh, dear -starts to hyperventilate-
No hugs, kiss or ANYTHING.
-panic attack heart explodes-

*Ahem*
So, yeah, it was cold.
I had to wear my thermal clothes today, ugh.

First Period: P.E. Ten minutes of running, a little warming up and
a ten-minute game of soccer. It'd have been better if the teacher
weren't such an a**. cx

Second Period: Spanish {Lengua Española, meh}. Poor teacher,
she's way too unstrict. She tries to give the class, but everybody
ends up talking about something or other. Like today, for example,
we talked about our youth {lol} and...um...bfs and gfs and such.
But it was cool, because she participated in the conversation.

Third Period: English. Since I'm the only one in my class who speaks
decent English {lol, I'm such a snob}, I usually discuss books and stuff
with my teacher after I'm done with the exercises and everybody else is
still struggling with types of sentences. So, it's pretty cool.

Fourth Period: Biology. I discovered that I was the only person in my
entire class who didn't get the very first thing about photosynthesis and
cellular respiration {lol, I'm such a dunce}, so I just doodled in my
notebook and avoided questions. Then, at the end of the class, I asked the
teacher if she could give me a special class later today just to understand
it better. She said ok, so that was pretty cool, too.

Fifth Period: Math. Oh, yay, we're starting on Algebra. I actually kind of
like math, and algebra is pretty easy to me, but I'm just to lazy to actually
want to learn anything about it. So...I fell asleep in class, and woke up
with a moustache xDDD

Then, after school was over, I went to previously mentioned special
biology class. It was supposed to be from three o' clock to four, but at
about three thirty, my teacher got a call from her daughter who had to go
to soccer practice or something and the kid couldn't make her own luch >>
Luckily, I had already discovered that I did, in fact understand about
photosynthesis and celullar respiration, so that was ok.

Then, I hung out with some friends for about half an hour, then my
mommy {awwww} came to pick me up and took me home.
Then, I slept for about two hours, ate dinner {mac n' cheese, yum} and
started to listen to the new Modest Mouse CD.
And I really do not want to my homework, but I might as well, right?
RIGHT?!
PostPosted: Wed Oct 24, 2007 6:54 pm

DN - Nah, I have to take Spanish. To get into college here, you have to have two years of the same language, and I already had Spanish 1, so yeah. Ooh, and the rain stopped this afternoon. 'Bout time! (But yay for almonds. XD)

Todaaaaay...

Physics: We just did extra credit work. It was easy. Yay. <3

Econ./Gov.: We got a packet to work on. I still have two or three of the questions to finish, actually, but I'll get them done in first period tomorrow if I don't get around to them tonight.

Spanish 2: More extra credit! All right! Shelby invited me to be in her group, which was cool. (She's like a friendly-aquataince-thing, but she can't remember my name. She called me "Veronica" today. I'm used to it; people mess up my name all the time. Anytime someone says either "Malory" or something starting with "V," they're talking to me. XD)

LUNCH: Worked on Econ./Gov. homework and ate almonds. <3

History Arts: Notes. Ugh. I hate taking notes... Oh well, at least it's easy.

English: YAY ENGLISH OMFG LOVE <3 I had to revise a poem. XD That's it, though.

Algebra 2: I missed ONE question on that quiz yesterday. ONE. Yesssss! And we got homework, but it's not due until Monday, because a lot of the students won't be in class for the next two days. She's giving those of us who are there time to work on assignments and stuff, though. It's like awesome sauce times two.

Annnd then I went to Mammaw;s, took a bath, went home, put up the groceries, chilled with my sisters at Mammaw's while playing Mario for a bit, and now I'm home again. XD

SOOOOOOOOOOO...

I went to test and get my permit this morning
I passed! whoo!
And yea, went to school...
Saw that cute freshemen
(who late snobbed me at lunch) D:<

Yea... then skip to after school...

Walked to Jamba Juice, saw Jamal
Omigosh, HOTTNESS

But at first it was like
"awwww, he isn't here"
But after I got my drink, and my friends and I were sitting outside
I saw him come out, and was all spazzing
And my friends were all like.. the hell
So yea... then he left Jamba juice...
And we were all sad...
Then he came back!
And we all started giggling...
Then we watched him eating his pizza...
And then he came to the door, and opened it
And did this twirl thing
And Jamna and I were laughing about it
Then he left
Then we were really sad
D:<

I watched him...
Cross the street...
Watching his beautiful afro

Omigosh, yea...

Then we just sat there talking...

Was a nice-ish day... yea <3

Today sucked, for a lack of better words.
School is just so incredibly draining. I finally finished my internship but my English class is ridiculously difficult. Seriously, 2,000 word essays in a 50 minute class period. =/
I won't have to take any more English until the spring of my sophomore year, but it's so tiring.

I run my own pet-sitting business. I have three different jobs this week - two small dogs at one house, two cats at another house, and a neurotic poodle at another. I spend all day running between houses to walk dogs, feed animals, and scoop poop. And go to school. And work part-time.
Well, anyways, I'm going to Virginia [5+ hour drive] for the Virginia Tech game tomorrow. Taking off school and work is hard enough and I haven't been to a game in a year, so my mom agreed to take over my pet-sitting work until Friday, when the owners return.
Well, she just started acting like a child, seriously. And even though she volunteered to do it, she's guilt-tripping me, yelling at me, the refusing to talk to me, and just generally acting like an a*****e. Same with my dad, who complained that I was doing too much and convinced me to take a break and go to the game.
Yeah. I've been depressed and suicidal for the past month. I had to start going to therapy again and keep upping my meds, which I totally hate. I mean, I handle my emotions well. I'm eighteen and a responsible, hard-working, adult. And I just spent three hours in my room hiding under a desk and bawling my eyes out. =/

So yeah, today wasn't so great.
And it looks like it's going to rain tomorrow during the game.

loony x lovegood

I'd love to write a long post about how wonderful my day was, but I can't.
It's vacation and all I did was watch tv, go online and bake a cake with my mother.
I hate vacation. D:
PostPosted: Thu Oct 25, 2007 3:59 pm

@Shinny- No hugs?! That's mean! And the German guy is really kewt. I have something to say later about him as soon as I reply to everybody. So do you guys have school until lunch then leave or something? 'Cause what you explained sounds alot like the German school system *which the German guy explained!* where it's basically a different schedule everyday. But it's sounds like you had a good day.

@Val- Nooo! That's very evil of them. And yay for almonds! I think I might go have some actually... >.> Yay for good scores on quizzes! And sounds like good. c:

@Breathless- Yay for doing things legally! And sounds like you had a good day because of this Jamna I'm hearing of. c:

@vegan- That's evil! I'm sorry that your life is very busy. You should go to the game, and don't be guilted into not, 'cause it sounds like you seriously need a break. Try a vegan cupcake maybe? (I once saw a book at Borders with recipes for vegan cupcakes, srsly.)

@Taormina- Cake?!!! I love cake! But I'm sorry you don't like vacation. Especially when you don't have much to do. D:

So today, in orchestra, cute German guy was in charge of conducting since both teachers were gone today. And it was funny. c: He was trying to tell us cellos to start at pickups to some measure and he was telling us in a thick German accent, "Ahh, start at the measure of 34, except it's the note before that..." and you could tell he was trying to think of the word, so I said pickup note and was like "Ya!" and it was awesome. And whenever he cut us off it was always really sharp and sounded weird, and he leaned back kind of like he was surfing or something like that. xD And he just had his hands all limp and let them flop all over the place when he conducted (he was actually really good, though). Just cute.

But you know what I hate? When kids go up to him afterwards and say "Nice job! You were great!" like he's a little kid or something, just because he's an exchange student. He understands English, and really well at that, and it's just really condesending. Just because he's from another culture doesn't mean he's just like you.

Oh, and I plan on giving him a gianormous bag of Skittles when he leaves at the end of the year, because he said he likes Skittles. <3

Nope, no hugs.
I got a hug today, though.
'Cause I fell asleep on his shoulder in the bus <33

omg I love Skittles, too.
Can I be the other cute German
guy
Mexican chick?
wink

My school system is a little weird.
Every day I have five periods, starting at seven
thirty and ending at three ' clock. Each period is
one and a half hour(s?) long. Well, P.E. is only
one hour long, then we get a free half an hour.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I have:
P.E., Spanish, English, Biology and Math. Except
that there's no Biology on Fridays, so that becomes
a free period for us.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I have: French,
History, OVA, a free period and computer class.
Some other classes get their free periods at the
very first, or the very last, hour, so they don't
have to come in until nine or they get to leave at one thirty.
So...yeah.

Today's day will be a wonderfully long post, yay.
So I'll post it next, heh heh.
