Last night I had a dream about cats.. Not like a ton of cats but random cats lurking around my house.
They were all on the roof of my house, and I could see them and it took broomsticks to pull them down. Many were somehow caged up, like one was in a bubble and looked like it was losing oxygen and another was (somehow) underneath one of my laundry hampers. So my friend Lee grabbed one from the roof and we fed it dog food. It was a full-grown kitty cat and it was really feisty... Then randomly out of the dog food bag poured out kitty food and it ate some then ran away..
Then the one that was in the bubble-thing was freed by Matt and Lee, and when I looked up at the roof it was like more kitties were multiplying everywhere gonk I took one down and there was 2 more wandering around in its place.
And then I saw a kitty and I thought it was sleeping but when I poked with the broom handle it rolled off the roof and landed in front of me 'cuz it was dead T-T
But I remember lastly that there was a full-grown kitty that turned into a little kitty and it climbed up my jeans and I got to hug it.. Then I woke up x_x;
Someone tell me what it means? XD
It's a really weird dream, and I'm worried it has to do with my boyfriend, Matt. I always consider him to be a kitty spiritually, and me a puppy. Do you think that it has anything to do with that fact? ;-;

It means that either you really want a cat, or you really, really don't. XD
Nah, I doubt it's literal. You say that you connect cats with your boyfriend, so it probably has something to do with him. Now the question is, which cat represents him? The dead one (oh jeez I hope not), the big one that ate dog food, the one that you hugged (aww), etc.?
Or maybe they all represent different aspects of his personality. Are you having trouble with figuring him out? Dreams are a way of your subconscious trying to help figure out your waking-hour problems, more often than not. So, to me, it seems like he's done something to confuse you and you're having problems over it.
Or maybe you're just stressed, and that's causing the confusion. Relationships and stress go hand-in-hand. Have you been having even the smallest thoughts about things like, "Is he cheating on me/Does he think she's prettier than me/What if he doesn't like me anymore?" Anything like that could be stressing you out to the point that you're confused, and the cat thing would make sense since the stress would be boyfriend-related.
Of course, this is all speculation. XD; I'm not you, so I can't say for sure what the problem is, but there's my two cents.

Kitties! <333
*ahem* Anyways... I would have to agree with Val. And adding to that, does he want to get into your pants? 'Cause the kitty climbing up your jeans (was it between your leg and jean's leg, or on the outside?) might be a part of his personality that wants to? I dunno, wild guess at that, really.
But seriously, you know how you said something about the dog food? Maybe your subconscious might be saying even though you're different you meet all of his standards in a way. But when the cat ran away... I hope you guys get through whatever problems you have, if any. *huggles* I'm sorry you had to endure that really weird dream.
And Val, you should seriously think about being a psychologist/person who looks at dreams and such if you aren't already one, because that was a pretty awesome dream analysis.

I'm gonna guess that it's a nonsense dream, but normally all dreams have a meaning. Like this one that I had, and it was about me and like 4 different people. It was super random, but it was about school, and we all ended up in the same homeroom. O.o So maybe your dream means that your boyfriend wants a cat for his birthday? (Lol, random stab at it.)

Aw, thanks, DN. <3 I wanted to be one when I was a little younger (only like, a couple years ago, actually XD), and I'm still interested in psychology, but I don't think it'd be the right career choice for me.
But I have to say, Captain's idea of getting him a cat for his birthday is really cool. XD

That was like the first thing I thought of. I'm not very good at throughly analyzing things, so.... Meow?

[.p y r o m a n i a c.] ROFL. that is so funny, yet sad. erm. there are some dream interpretation websites, if you want to check 'em out. i don't know the links, but i've been to a few. try googling it. I don't think that those really work. They rely too much on symbolism, and symbolism in dreams is personal; most of the time, you can't just define the elements, y'know? It's mostly like... almost a glossary. Snow - purity Ocean - mystery Black - death Things like that. You have to pick out what you think the most important item in the dream was (in this case, probably the cats) and look it up. Since you associate cats with your boyfriend, which most people probably don't do, I'm not sure it'll help. Could be worth a try anyway, though. I'm a skeptic of them, but there are lots of people who approve of dream-interpretation sites, so try one out, if you'd like. Can't hurt, might help, right? http://www.freakydreams.com was popular with girls in my middle school, so if you don't know where to start, maybe you could try it. (That was a good suggestion, actually, Pyro.)

No it was on the outside of the leg xD
And we've had sex before.. quite frequently >_>; <_<; *cough*
I'll try some dream sites x3 But I hope it's nothing to worry about X_x; We haven't been having problems.
The one I usually go to is www.dreammoods.com
They focus alot on symbolism though, now that I think about it x-x;

Weird dreams are awesome. XD One of the best things about having a job now is that I wake up at odd times, usually in the middle of a dream, so I remember them much more than I used to when I slept until I naturally woke up.
Dream interpretation sites are fun, but yeah, symbolism heavy and only int he most common type of way. For instance, tornados have a very negative connotation most of the time, but I love to see tornados in my dreams; I dream about them often and the dreams they're in are always very peaceful, which is probably really odd and says something about my screwed up mind. XD
Recently, on topic, I've been dreaming of things that turn out partially true. Like, I dreamed my parents didn't come over my house when they planned to, and though in RL they did come over the first day they were going to, they couldn't make it the next day. And I also dreamed my dog left a present in the kitchen, only to find out my brother's dog had done that at the same time I had the dream (my dog was being her usual angel self. *cough*)
