You enter the large dome room, apprehensive of what is to come. The sound is deafening as the whispers echo and bounce off the ceiling.
The Empress, after a long sabbatical, has returned. No one knows where she went or how she faired. The only thing for certain is that she has changed and is more powerful than ever.
A gong sounds, and the crowd becomes silent, the echoes of the room resounding for for a few minutes.
Anticipation hangs in the air, dripping anxiety, excitement and dread, as everyone rises from their seats.
All eyes are on the doors behind the dais; polished onyx with gold in-lay. The door noiselessly open to reveal a woman of small stature. Her ears and fur indicate her to be some humanoid of the feline persuasion. Perched on her head is a simple gold crown, and her neck is adorned with an ancient beaded and gold necklace. Her black skirt elegantly trails behind her, revealing her legs and boots in the front. Her ample breasts heave as she surveys the commons of Sith.
She turns gracefully toward the throne on the dais of polished onyx, her long, black hair rasping as it flutters.
She turns one more time to look at her progeny and sits on her throne. You take this as the cue to sit on your hardwood bench.
She gently whispers a phrase that is heard by all: Let the meeting begin.

Rules 1. Follow Gaia TOS rules.
2. The Empress is the rule maker in this forum. This means she is the law and you cannot argue or change the rules.
3. Be courteous. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions in this forum, this means that everyone gets a turn to express their voice.
4. No flaming.
5. If I feel you are out of line you may receive a warning. If you do, heed it, or you will be banned from this thread.
6. More rules to come as the meeting processes.

I was thinking that we should have a big Halloween Ball like we had in the past. It was pretty fun rping and we gave out prizes. Also, There seemed to be a big wave of membership during and after the event.
Do you think we should do this?
What prizes do you think we should offer, if we hold a contest or do door prizes?
Should we have an extra contest?
Let me know what you all think.

An Idea to raise money for the guild (where it goes to a mule for future prizes): Buy a plasma gear item. Have a five round Sith avatar contest. The first four rounds are to pick the top winner. The last round to pick the grand prize winner and second place. First place gets the plasma gear and second place gets their entry fee back.
If we do this we could make about 10,000-15,000g for our guild. I say member entrance fees would be 1000g and non-members 1500g. What do you think about this idea.

I like the idea of a Halloween ball, and maybe we should have a Sith Costume contest; where we all send in pictures of ourselves in sith gear. Unfortunately, I doubt my cortosis armor will be finished by halloween. My costume designer is getting lazy since my latest film, Sith Academy won't be out until spring.

I thin the costume contest would be good for next year...that way we not only have more contestants, but we can prepare our own costumes...which would be fun since I have taken up sewing this year and have an awesome cloak pattern. xd What do you think of the avatar contest though? I think we could get enough people to do it, and then we could use the money for guild contests around the Christmas event.

Sounds like a good idea. Have we gotten a full role call yet to see who is still active?

XxScythexX Sounds like a good idea. Have we gotten a full role call yet to see who is still active? I don't think so. So far I think it is just us three. I am going to leave this thread up until the Halloween event, btw. I know some of the people expressed that they wouldn't be able to come until the weekend.

Only four people? That's terrible! I hope we'll still get some action though- my character needs a master. Until then there's not much I can do.

I'll probably do what I have done before and take on training younglings myself. I'm just waiting until after the Halloween event, so that things won't be hectic.

Heh...forgot to check the guild again until just now. I make five people, and trust me, thats not bad. The Star wars guild I'm moderating for (and using Grim in) has dwindled from something like 20 to about 5 or 6. It's not that bad, especially considering it allows me to DM for them instead of having to try and work with others to get an idea together. Hell, I even used the character background that I posted here (over 3 super long posts) as a background information there and go awarded 'oh my god he's powerful' status from that....then I became a mod there....and then I became vice captain and started DMing things when the owner left....and now I'm here again. Mmmm, the circle of stuff.
Also, should I still be a youngling, or would Grim have bumped up in rank? I've been using him as a Sith Lord (read: comparable to the Emporer) in the other RP because I needed him as a bad guy...should I keep the personality changes he's gone through and have him be a youngling around here?
