The IRC is at www.mprilc.i8.com for those of you interested. Type  something kool will happen. =o
Okay, the IRC chat thing isn't too popular... and I just found out how to add it to firefox Chatzilla, so... I'm open to suggestions on what we could schedule for it, when, and how, and who will be open to it.
Suggestions so far:
Scheduled TK parties Scheduled Psi parties Scheduled TP parties Scheduled RV parties Scheduled seksi I mean... discussion parties Scheduled Quizzes Scheduled Mad lib sessions
Seems like we may have something to do every single day, yah?

Well, we could use it for Guild Meetings, and I've been meaning to make a thread about it, alongside another proposal for the guild. The second proposal would branch off of the question "What would we do in a Guild Meeting?". I could get on making that thread now, if you want. Or just make the posts here. Either way, I've been procrastinating.

Well im not sure you can do this with IRC or not. But Psipog used to play little games, do some experiments with passing constructs and stuff like that. I think they had a telepathy game as well.

I think they had a telepathy game as well. Yeah, you can do that relatively easily. It'd be nice to have it during a set time every week. Wednesday seems like a fair time, yes?

Mitsh How do you use the MPRILC IRC with Chatzilla? I'm completely dense when it comes IRC. D: step one: get Firefox step two: get chatzilla step three: open Firefox step four: open chatzilla step five: go to preferences step six: go to global settings step seven: go to "Start Up" tab step eight: Click "Add" for "Auto Connect URLs" Step nine: Type "irc://freenode/mprilc" step ten: click "okay" step eleven: quit chatzilla and re-open it. Step twelve: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! Either Go to the mprilc website and figure out things to suggest, or eat a bowl of steamed rice with or without green tea. Step thirteen: Ponder on whether lobo's steps helped or not. Step fourteen: (optional) give lobo a vegetarian friendly cookie. mrgreen

You could have it Linked to any shops you might have. A kind of 1 on 1 with shop owners so you can see them in text action so to speak

Sinesthera You could have it Linked to any shops you might have. A kind of 1 on 1 with shop owners so you can see them in text action so to speak Well, this is the guild's irc, not mine. I made it, I thought of it, but I made it for the guild, not me. That and I have nothing to sell in any shop. I only draw for myself, I only do energy work for those who need it, or myself, and I teach people psychic things for free on the website anyway. Nice suggestion, but it's not a personal type IRC.

Well I mean there are more then one shop in the guild. I was thinking that if anything anyone wanting to do like tarot readings or energy work could have a designated day to A: Do work in a real time environment B: Have other people watch them while they do work ask them questions about it etc. I mean it would probably be a positive thing... People would be able to watch other people practice may learn something about what they're doing and it would give a general medium for in Guild shops to work through. Or maybe people could just request to do specific work shops. Like a person who is good at ritualistic magic could possibly talk about the different representations they use in rituals. I always find it interesting to watch other people work. I was thinking that maybe if your going to have specific days for specific topics you could have people request days or have a day to watch people as they work and there methods of interacting with the people they work with.

I would generally do this over web cam... kinda like show people enchantments rituals let them see my energy stuff like that. I love aim/yahoo for the real time interface though usually I have only done this on a person to person basis

So Chiyuri, Kizzy, Lobo, Subrosian and I had a particularly night last night on the guild IRC. So GET YER ARSES ON THE IRC RIGHT NOW. Firefox users, you can get Chatzilla here, then just follow Lobo's instructions as to how to connect. As for Guild topics... Hey! There's no "Scheduled Magick Parties"! =O!
