To me the oh so awsome world of Gaia is becoming more and more like the oh so awsome world of .Hack
Sure they have avitars, it's the same thing as a user character.
Gaia also has festivals, night and day, contests, weapons, and the soon to be MMO battle system. The .Hack World also has these things.
I'm not complaining or saying that Gaia is stealing ideas, Im just wondering if it's just me noticing these things.

you have some valid points, the only thing they need to come out with is the elemental wave markings for people to tattoo on their avatars

I think...pretty much all mmorpgs have those things. I don't see any obvious resemblances between "The World" and Gaia.
Gaia is forum based anyway.
