Yeah...just wondering if anyone's up for that. Haven't RP'ed in forever. Most of the roleplays around Gaia are sadly mediocre, or unappealing in some way or another, and I don't really feel like throwing myself out into a roleplay with people I'm unfamiliar with. So yeah. If you're interested in starting one here, post and let me know.
Preferences:
- Literacy's a must, can't stress it enough.
- For themes, suggest something, and I can probably adapt to it, anything with a certain style is awesome. I'll come up with my own thoughts on a theme or general tone of roleplay later if anyone's interested.
- The general rules, godmods suck, PG-13, all that...
- Downplay relationship RP. I doubt we'd have anything like that going on in any RP this guild would have, but on other roleplays in Gaia it seems like disguised flirting, if you understand what I mean. I realize the presence of this would have to depend on the style of the RP, so if you can roleplay a character's relationship with another character creatively and appropriately, go ahead.
- As for the pace and availability of players, it's a fuzzy area. I'm pretty involved in RPs I like. If we can make an RP so that it will still be playable while people are gone, that'd be good. If we could make it so the people that aren't available all the time would not be disadvantaged, that'd be good too. As for how we would do that, well...x.x
If I get a good response, we'll pick a suggestion and start the RP in a new thread.

I'd be up for it, depending on the setting. I don't go in for sci-fi very much, but I heart things like steampunk roleplay, Cthulhu-esque horror roleplay, Postmodern horror (think the story in John Dies At The End, or some odd mix of the above. Then again, fantasy is fine too. As for the medium - forums all the way. I dislike messenger RPs for an odd reason that I can't quite articulate.

Horror would be interesting...I've never really done anything like that before. I used to RP over instant messaging with some friends, and there were two Gaia RPs I was fond of. I also used to play on the specially-edited Roleplay Maps for Warcraft III, and do RPs with my cousin, and sometimes a friend. Warcraft III's great, we usually did 7-hour long storylines that would end in one sitting, but we usually reused our characters for other roleplays. As for themes I've done in the past, fantasy, science-fiction, that sort of thing. But I'm open to anything.
