The Trick after the Treat BACKGROUND:
You are a member of a group of kids that like to hang out together and complain about your small town life in Podunkville, Iowa. Craving some excitement, you all decided to go crazy making the best Halloween costumes ever. After three hours of candy collecting and gobbling, you all return to your respective homes.
You stand in front of the mirror, taking one last proud look at your now bedraggled costume. Then you sigh and pull off the mask and wig. But they don't come off. Puzzled, you pull harder, but it only hurts. You touch your mask and to your complete amazement, you feel your finger moving across your skin, your new skin. You have turned into what you were mimicking.
Now you face a decision; will you try to cover it up, ignoring your new nature? Or will you take this chance for excitement?
The choice is yours.

CHARACTER PROFILE of Britomartis-the-Valiant:
Name: Elicia
Gender: female
Age: 15 (whee, no college worries!)
Appearance: She is lanky with large hands. She has mid-length, straight dark hair with natural lighter streaks. She has hazel eyes and wears glasses.
Personality: She loves music and researching anything and everything. Though she is quiet and reserved, she has a definite streak of the dramatic.
Costume worn: That precipitous night, she wore a long aqua-colored tunic decorated with seashells and frayed-fabric feather wings. When asked, she'd shrug and say she was one of the seirenes--that is, a siren.

Name: Edelweiss (psst: her nickname is Blanche...she hates to be referred to as 'Eddie' so please, just don't...unless you want Blanche to yell at your charry)
Gender: female
Age: 15
Appearance: She has long, curly black hair. She wears an emo-style fringe over her left eye. The eye that isn't hidden by the fringe is dull green
Personality: She is halfly blind and is usually grumpy. She's only kind with her kitty Rain, who she believes to be the reincarnation of her previous-life son. Edelweiss believes in karma and reincarnation and is usually talking about them.
Costume worn: Cream-colored off-the-shoulder-top, dark olive mermaid-cut-skirt. She wore a dark brown cloak over those and a black beak mask

Appearance: Tall, around 5'8, has waist long raven black hair. She has brown eyes with strange markings around her eyes. She has a strange fang hanging off the ear ring in her right ear.
Personality: She is diffuclt and hard to talk to. She has a selected few who she hangs out. She loves anything dealing with Dark Ages or heavey metal music. She always celebrates Halloween as her favorite holiday.
Costume worn: She has a long dark long dark green cloak, she has high heeled leeather boots, and dark green tight pants and shirt, a black face mask and a bow with a quiver with arrows tied to quiver. She a ranger for the Dark Ages.

I know; everyone independently discovers their transformation. And then we move to having to group meet up at the most deserted place (the cemetery?) in the dead of night to discuss what happened and what they'll do. . .
