Are ther any languages or accents that you can't hear enough of??

Me, I can't get enough of the irish, scottish and welsh accents and I'm a total sucker for the german language, it's my inner linguist's fault.

I love Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Geordie, Scouse and Australian accents. All my crushes are either Scottish or Irish (David Tennant, James McKenzie, Sean Biggerstaff, John Barrowman [even though he's got an American accent, I've heard him speaking with a Scottish one as well], Ed Byrne).

Mind you, Yorkshire's a good one for me, but I would say that, because that's my natural accent! Although if I'm speaking different languages, I have the right accent. Here's the list..

Russian arrow Moscow
Japanese arrow Nagoya
Turkish arrow Istanbul

Irish, Welsh, British, Scottish, cockney, French and.....northern. If that counts for one. I've lived in the south for a while so long it's wonderful to hear. <3

I'm not a fan of the accents associated with the spanish language, I live in America and there are TOO many spanish speaking people where I live.
And I hate where I live because I moved here 8 years ago and I'm just now developing a noticible southern accent. *gags*

Scottish, Irish, English, Welsh, some Australian, Finnish, perhaps Northern as well, although I'm basically just including that for Eccleston's accent. ^^

And there are some actors I adore that I have no idea what their accent is.

Oh yeah, and Elvish. mrgreen

Elvish? That's just...insanely awesome!!!

I love Eccleston's accent. There was another dude with it, though. That guy who played Riley in 42. Lovely accent.

But nothing is better than DT's. I'd die to hear him say my name. Although, I've heard him say my surname...really, I have.

You like Mancunian then.

And I've heard David say my first name! There's a character in Double Income No Kids Yet (radio sitcom, starring David as Daniel) who's called Katie. Different spelling to mine (at least judging by the description onscreen), but still same pronunciation! Mind you, I'm used to hearing Scots saying my name. My ex-fiance was Scottish, and I have Scottish relatives.

Oooh...well, Katie is close to Katherine... So technically all I have to do is go find that radio broadcast or something. *youtubes*

Try BBC7. The Listen Again service will give you last week's episode. Look on Wednesday's list. You will need Real Player. www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7

And officially, we have the same name if your real name's Katherine! Mine's just spelt differently. Mine's Kathryn.

SCOTTISH!!! I don't know why or how but for some reason there's just something about that accent... *drools*
Irish being my second favourite, afterwards... who knows? that Canadian one sounds pretty cool, not sure which one it was I heard though.
