Brief Bio: Jukey is a care free rogue. :3 He lives by the 'music' of nature, and though he is a very happy lion in general, the specific beats and tunes for whatever day sets his mood to an extent. The songs he hears day in and day out are created by the enviroment. The rustling wind, the whistling birds, the buzzing insects, the gurgling currents... Even those he speaks with add their own solos to the musix. It's his life force, and he revolves almost entirely around it. Brief Bio: One of Sen's daughters, though she'll likely never know it. Jun will be told she's the daughter of two dead rogues and given to a lioness named Nsundu in exchange for her daughter. A straightforward and 'call it as I see it' young lioness, Jun is most notable for her sense of purpose. She always feels like she needs to be doing things, solving mysteries or figuring out how things work. With her incredible drive comes a highly creative mind, something that Jun enjoys putting to the test. Brief Bio: Binafsi carries herself with an air of great dignity, aware of both her skills and her limits as a huntress. Though she was under her parents protection, the black cub understood that the world was filled with scary things; she understood how swiftly death could fall upon those unprepared and took it upon her shoulders alone to be extra protective of her curious siblings. Quite grave for a little cub, and very worried about every thing Jumuu has lived a very anxious life. She's slowly coming out of her shell within the Nchi'mahadhi pride, and has learned much about her own rhythm of life.

Brief Bio: Even as an older cub, he had always been considered an "old soul," perhaps something that only increased after the great plague's claws ripped the pride asunder. He means well and dabbles in the affairs of the pride's members, as any good "uncle" should and acts very much like a brotherly or fatherly figure towards his pride-mates. He tends to, in this manner, bite off more than he can possibly chew, as he can't seem to turn down any request for help, else his conscience would eat him alive. He takes his position within the pride quite seriously and devotes his energies towards all his father taught him in dabbling with medicines and baboon affairs, but that doesn't mean he never does anything else. His rhythm is incredibly important to himself, as he feels that his father is with him and, though he has had little time or interest in taking on a mate thus far, he wishes fervently to pass his father's rhythm to one of the younger pride members, lest all traces of his father vanish for good. He wishes to live up to what he considers to be his father's "greatness," for it was his father who reared he and the two lionesses when the darkness came. He would never wish harm on his fellow lions, but he wants to keep his father's memory alive and well, as well as to live up to the title his father once wore in life.

Brief Bio: The first thing you need to know about Tarina is that you can be 90% sure that everything she says is a lie. Not that she's untrustworthy -- not in the slightest, she's actually incredibly loyal, good-natured, and noble. No, it's just that Tarina has this tendency to...inflate...things; she's a pathological liar in the sense that she hardly realizes she's doing it, but she skews the truth of a situation in order to make a better story out of it. If you ask her later, she'll insist that the events she explained truly happened and might even get a bit hurt if you insist that she's lying. She's a great story teller and a skilled chanter, although she isn't quite as good at drumming and dancing -- she's better with her words than her paws, really. She's fun to be around, incredibly charming, charismatic, sensually appealing and usually the life of the party...but also can tend to wear on your nerves if you're around her too much because it seems like she is NEVER serious.

Brief Bio: If Laz were in a human high school, he'd be a band geek. His love for the music of the savannah, seemingly passed down from dear old dad, is one of the most important things in his life. It ties with his love for his family, even. He has even taken things one step further than his father, and has found a way to create his own music, to add to the symphony of nature. Where Juke simply enjoyed what was already given, Laszlo is happiest when he is assisting the birds with their tunes. Brief Bio: Although the meaning of his name means "The most beautiful sound on earth", young Selador was struck with a throat that couldn't make beautiful sounds. He focused most of his free time trying to manipulate the materials around him into instruments of sound, more beautiful than his voice. Brief Bio: This little hybrid is shy and timid, full of polite mannerisms and gentle kindness. He is quiet, calm and all in all a passive and likable creature. Brief Bio: Isi is an upbeat lioness, always happy to perform or teach. As a cub, Isithunzi had become obsessed with the culture of her Pride and memorized everything she could. Unfortunately, the plague struck soon after, driving her to flee for her life. She lost both of her parents. Isi wandered until some instinctual force drove her back to the lands in hope of seeing the Pride live again. Deceased/Missing Members
Nesibindi (brave) – The leader of the soon to be Nchi'mahadhi pride during the time before Indlovu introduced "the Rhythm". Somber, determined and powerful in spirit, she devoted her life to her pride and thus never had any cubs. Believing that Indlovu would lead their pride to better times, she stepped down from the throne and gave it to the lioness shortly after Indlovu performed her dance for Nesibindi. She stayed on in the pride as a nanny until her death. Nesibindi is the writer of the Hunt Song, which is sung before the first hunt of every season. [Deceased]
Indlovu (elephant) – Named for her loud-stomping feet, Indlovu was the one who first found "the Rhythm" and introduced it to her pride. She is the creator of many of the instruments that the Nchi'mahadhi still use today. A charming, motivated lioness, she brought laughter and prosperity to her pride. Many songs are sung in her honor, and the Nchi'mahadhi believe that the rhythm beat by elephant feet are an echo of her rhythm. [Deceased]
Ma'gxila (stand firm/fast) – Indlovu's granddaughter and the last Malenga before the plague struck, Ma'gxila was the first to give a male lion status. Before her time, lions were permitted only to lead their own gender, having no say in pride matters. Ma'gxila elevated her mate to the position of De'inkunzi, and thus opened the doorway for more positions of that kind. She was a very easy-going and laid back lioness, never letting too much bother her. [Deceased]
Mnyama (black) – Eldest daughter of Ma'gxila, Mnyama was renowned for both her charisma and her vanity. She fell in love with the rogue Lubisi and followed him away from her pride. He had told her that she would be the queen of the empire he would create; however once he had impregnated her he vanished. Only one daughter (Nsundu) was born, far from her home. Mnyama taught Nsundu all that she could remember, before abandoning the cub to chase after Lubisi. It is unknown if she ever found him. [Deceased/Missing]
Khululile (free) – Mnyama's younger brother. Laid back and calm like his mother, he accepted Mnyama's place as future Malenga without any fuss. He cared deeply for his pride, and was well liked. Khululile died from the plague. [Deceased]
Sheshile (fast) – Mnyama's younger sister. Shy and rather timid, it took quite a bit of coaxing to convince Sheshile to participate in the ritual dances and chanting. Despite being quiet, Sheshile was a steady, predictable member of the Nchi'mahadhi. She died from the plague. [Deceased]
Jini'Kekaya (fairy tale) - One of Isithunzi's daughters, Jini was returned to her father in the Pridelands because she most resembled Isithunzi. Pride born. [Dispersed]
Waseme (let them talk) - Nsundu's second daughter who was given to Sen as a sort of alliance pact. In return, Nsundu was given one of Sen's daughters, Jun. Waseme was chosen to be the heir to Sen's pride, and will thus not be returning. Pride born. [Dispersed]
Nsundu (brown) - Daughter of Mnyama and the rogue Lubisi. She was born away from her pride and thus has no idea of her heritage nor the customs of her pride. Nsundu is very self-assured and believes in everything she does, as well as something she calls "natural justice" (basically, you get what you deserve). After passing the pride onto her daughter Kitambi, Nsundu has left the pride to travel with her best friend Sen. [Dispersed]
Hakuna & Matata (no trouble) - Twin sons of Isithunzi; left the pride to join the Dawnwalkers. [Dispersed]
Ronan (little seal) - Son of Juke and Muujiza; left to join the Navi pride. [Dispersed]
