Alright, so what's everyone doing for Halloween? Are you dressing up, and as what?
I think I'm gonna dress up as Amy Winehouse for whatever shindig I end up at (or throw) this year. All I have to do is wear black, throw all of my hair messily on top of my head into something resembling a beehive, draw my eyeliner out to my temples, and keep a beverage in hand. wink
How about you?

I haven't desided what I'm going to dress up as this year...it's a toss up between a "pop star" or a very distorted version of Alice in Wonderland. But I for sure have one party to go to the Saturday before Halloween, and maybe one on Halloween...

Myself it was between Microsoft OS and Burned out Rock Star. As much fun as running around "encountering critical errors" and "illegal operations" would be, and shutting down periodically on everyone, I decided to shoot for the Rock Star. Mostly because I don't dress all that wild normally. Rock star means wild hair, sexy clothing, and a whole lot of makeup (I'm lazy, on an ordinary day makeup takes time). I also plan to accompany the get up with a hoarse, cheesy British accent [the uber fake kind] and carry around a jug of sunny D ranting on about how I'm doing "The D" due to my crippling addiction to Vitamin C.
Last couple years I've been a wall flower- so when I get out of class at 9:30 pm I plot to kidnap friends and go do something wild gosh darn it.
Headhunter if you didn't live a time zone away (to my knowledge) I would gladly invite you along.
And Arista -takes off hat- you have my respect. This year being in class between 3:00pm-9:30pm [ok, so only 5 of those hours are in class] I won't be available to dish out the goodies to the kiddies.

I have class Halloween night, so sadly I don't think I'll be doing much of anything. crying I had originally planned to dress up as a hippie or female pirate, but the idea of having to lug everything to and from class just didn't appeal to me. So instead I'll probably wear a T-shirt that has little bears going trick-or-treating (it's a black shirt) or I'll wear an orange shirt with black letters that reads "I Don't Do Costumes!". Either way I'm sure I'll get into Halloween just a bit.

I'm so glad I switched to a Mac. And half the reason I wanna dress up as Amy Winehouse is for the excessive eyeliner, because I usually just wear foundation anyway (and that's only because my skin's so light that it's pretty much transparent).
Yes, do get out and enjoy the holiday! This is my last one before I graduate, so I figure it's my last opportunity to dress up and really enjoy the holiday.

Looks like I'll be working. I also haven't even thought of any costume ideas.

well... me and my fiancee have a great idea for halloween. it's our favorite holiday so we try to have a great time every time. none of my real life friends know what's going on with us. we tend to keep our costumes hush hush til the first of many parties. last year, i went as a pirate and she went as a tavern wench. the year before that, i was a 20's gangster and she was a flapper girl. this year, we decided to do something completely different and swap genders. she's a pimp and i'm the very unattractive, very cheap prostitute. xd pics to come soon.

Ha ha, nice. There's a lot of creative things you can do with couples' costumes. Last year, a couple that I'm friends with went as a magnet and a chicken... a "Chick Magnet." biggrin

The teachers get to dress up at my school on halloween as well as the students, so I have some time to put something cool together.
As for trick or treaters, I usually end up eating all the candy, and my neighborhood is "No soliciting." Bummer.
