ok this is my version,insted of just sayin if u beat,if u have then choose wich one.also if u got so close,keep getting nailed by their super atks(my prob),or dont no were to go.if u ave beat plz plz plz list here.

(this is on emerald weapon)yeh i keep using kotr with hp absorb,and have mime on both vincent (lvl 80 or so, and on cloud,lvl 87.now evrytime it opens its lasers,after i kill em it nails me with its super atk.y is that?

The Lasers will take the amount of materia on a character and multiply the number by 1111. For example, if you have 3 materia equipped, then the attack will deal 3333 HP damage.
You must have too much materia equipped. If you have 9 or more equipped, then the character will instantly be KO'd. If all the members of your party have 9 or more equipped, then it means instant Game Over, unless Final Attack linked to Phoenix is among the materia equipped.
Try limiting the materia equipped, is the obvious answer. Only equipping eight will leave you with 1111 HP left at most. Judge yourself accordingly. Also, the least the attack can take away is 1111.
I apologize if it isn't the lasers, but another attack, that this applies to. But I know for certain that this is the case for one of Emerald WEAPON's attacks.

Final attack is definitely the way to go. I like to have cloud with Final Attack Phoenix, and the other two members with Final Attack KoTR and I have mime to keep the KoTR going with minimal MP cost. You just have to keep your MP up then sweatdrop

I found emerald relativly easy compared to ruby. The kotrt and hp absorb trick works well, but I got the master summon materia so I had characters that could use it.

i just beat emerald weapon the yesterday and i didnt have knight of the round!

i had magic counter set with ultima on cloud and had slash all on barret and had cid healing everyone. everytime he opened his lasers he use revenge stomp and i automatically couter with ultima and had barret slash=all and the lasers were dead before they could attack!

me and a friend were taking turns trying and i killed him first but he died, just as it hit 00:00, so instead of seeing the victory moves a saw them drown, lol.
here is a tip get the counter materia and join it with mime, and join KotR with W-summon, start with 2xKotR and then you counter with 2 KotR over and over keep materia equipped minimal cuz of Aire-tam

I just used Omni slash four times in a row to beat all weapons a litle trick my friends showed me
