ok has anyone heard if there is going to be another expansion pack for Oblivion? I think what they should do is, since they did Shivering Isles, which was ruled by a Dadric Prince. Bethsda should continue that. They say there are 12 princes! They should make a expansion pack for each one. Until you are the prince of every plane.

The sheer amount of time required to do that would be phenomenal. I mean, think about it, how long did it take them to produce SI? Times that by twelve and thats the amount of time taken out from TES:VI. Maybe one or two new packs, but I really don't think twelve is necessary.

Yes. You become Sheogorath.
And there are 16 total Deadric princes. However, Oblivion centers around 1, Mehrunes Dagon, so you cant really make an expansion about his plane of oblivion, since you go to it to close oblivion gates.
And acording to the lore, Azura does not allow mortals to enter her plane. So that eliminates another one.
So that leaves 13 left (Sheogorath has already been done) and many of which have planes of oblivion that are byond mortal comprehention, so that rules out about half. And the shear size of the rest would just be too much work for Bethesda, considering TES:V is in the works.
Not to mention, Malog Bal's plane would comprise of nothing but gore and blood soaked land. Which Bethesda would never make.

wait, so they're making a TES: V? Do you have any proof of that because i'd like to know its confirmed (it would be fun if they made all of tamriel (even though it would take a bunch of years to do))

Do you have any proof of that because i'd like to know its confirmed (it would be fun if they made all of tamriel (even though it would take a bunch of years to do)) The proof is in the the fact that they made TES 1-4. They are going to eventually get everywhere. Never played TES1 so ill skip that. TES2 - Hammerfel TES3 - Vvardenfel (Morrowind) TES4- Cirodiil Not to mention Bethesda even said they were planning to make TES 5. However the details about it are still unknown. And it might be delayed longer then normal because Bethesda took up the production of Fallout 3.

I think it would take 2 or 3 years to make another TES game. They would want to make it bigger than the last one. Prehaps they would have to set it in 2 provinces.

If they want to have the same type of content, AND improved content, then it will tkake the same amount of time if not longer. Quote: Sheogorath? What do you get to do???? You cet to control the weather in SI and get a buff based on it. You have a Saint and a Seducer body guard you can take with you. Thats about it.

I have Oblivion for the XBox360. But, I'm guessing the XPacks are for the PC versions of Oblivion? If there are XPacks for the XBox360 version, i'd LOVE to know. Because Shivering Isles just sounds really awesome to me, and I'd like to get it for the XBox360, if I even can.
