Well, I was scrolling down the guilds list and I saw something like Guides and Training for Newbies, and I just had to click on it. So I went into the Quests subform immeaditly so see all the little newb quests 8D And there was one thread titled something like "I'll help yew!" So I clicked, and the guy was all "Pay me right now and Ill pay yew more later!!!!1" And there were a ton of posts about some quests that all the little newbs needed. And one girl said that she was saving up for an angelic halo, I laughed so hard, because that was exactly what I quested for when I was a newb. Then when I got a little sense I gave up. Then I was going around shops and I saw fairy wings, I thought they were so expensive xD
So what did you quest for when you were a newb? And what did you think was super duper expensive?

If I'm ever in trouble, my hero will come and rescue me. I wanted Fairy Wings and I thought they were super expensive back when I joined in 2005. xd Inflation hadn't really taken its toll on the MP yet, so even Cocos were cheaper than Fairy Wings. I miss those days... I want to experience that at least once.

When I was a little newb, I quested for a demonic pitchfork when they were 200K. I thought I'd never get enough but I did! =D

 `The first thing I ever actually quested for was a Chyaku Norisu Scarf, back when they were 60k. I never thought I'd be able to get it, but when I had enough gold in a week and a half my questing confidence grew quite a bit. 3nodding

Is it stoopid in here...
My current quest when I was a newb? Man things were expensive in 06'. At least what we thought. If you had 20k you were like a freakin millionaire. If you had a million then you were a billionare. Heck man, everyone gasped when they saw me strolling around in 2000 gold pants. Anyways, enough with the reminisscing. I wanted a Chyaku Narrisu Scarf. Tho' I wasn't much of a saver at the time and kept on straying from my quests. They were around 20k at the time. Funny thing though my friend eventually saved up for one and there I was with my 3000 gold Mythrill Armor compared to her 20,000 plus Chyaku Scarf.
...or is it just me?

mah first quest was DJ's headphones, because ya know 30 million is a piece of cake xD
then I realized I couldn't save mah money so I exchanged like crazy and got a bunch of cheap MCs, after that I quested nuthing.
So just lately I decided to quest for an Elegant Veil, and then a Coco 3nodding

My first quest was Fairy Wings. Then I sold them and brought a demonic pendant xD
The think the most expensive thing for me was the Fairy Wings.
