((ya'll know him, but what the hell...))

name: Faust VIII
age: 34
height: 6'5"
weight: 120 lbs
spirits: Eliza and Mephistophiles
I.Q. 200+
personality: (after what everyone knows) Faust has mellowed out a good deal after making friends with Yoh. He's soft-spoken and sweet unless angered. People often take advantage of his relative naivety, his reliance on drugs, and his simultaneously startling/pathetic appearance, but he's gotten to have a better sense of humor about it lately.
Faust's Japanese isn't terribly good. He's able to get by, but he can't catch all the meaning in words when Japanese characters purposely speak too quickly. His knowledge of kanji is very lacking, so he's practically illiterate in Japan.
Faust is intensely loyal. The children he's gotten to know since teaming up with Yoh are his greatest joy in life, and he sometimes treats them with the same degree of compassion/protectiveness that he would if they were actually his own children. This can be both very sweet and very annoying.
Faust is very bad at holding his alchohol.
Based on other RPs and the series, I'm having Faust come into this one with several preconceived likes and dislikes concerning the other characters.
Likes: Netsubo, Manta, other SK kids unless otherwise specified, because he considers them friends and like his own children. Eliza, obviously.
Love/hate relationship: Mephistophiles. The devil who has returned to plague each and every descendant of the Faust line, his presence is a curse, but also a blessing in disguise. Mephistohiles was always present from Faust's earliest childhood all the way up to post-Eliza recovery. Even though his single aim appears to be securing Faust's soul, he has saved Faust's life on several occasions. One of the few that Faust considers a friend.
Dislikes: Tao Ren. In a previous roleplay, Ren, on hearing Faust voice his wish to be a father, thoughtlessly told Faust that he'd make a terrible parent, considering what he did to Manta. The callous nature of the statement, along with Faust's guilt concerning said incident, have forever colored his opinion of this young shaman. The way he interacts with Ren is polite, but chilly.
Hao Asakura: Being a doctor and a decent human being, Faust disagrees strongly with Hao's Hiter-esque policies concerning mankind.
