Why is it that some people in band are attracted to other people in band???

well there are definitely some cute guys in our band *cough trombones and baritones cough*...last year i liked a tenor sax...
but nah. i doubt i'd ever go out with a band boy. right now i've got my eyes set on an androgynous theatre kid.

Well you know that you have at least one thing in common. That and you see them all the time.

Because you have something in common with them and can talk to them about it.

I know I like this one kid in my band, because we are really good friends anyway, and he is really hot! He's super nice and yeah anyway band kids have stuff in common and can relate on at least one thing you see them all the time and it just makes sense. Though never date a band person if you don't know how it will end because I've seen things go south quite fast because of a bad band breakup last year our entire band was stuck in the middle of these two girls who broke up, and yeah it was bad, but I've also seen band relationships end well.

oh man I so know how that is I have a major crush on a certain person in my band that I find myself staring at him out of nowhere but the sad thing is that he has been classified as the "manwhore" of the band. Seriously a LOT of girls have liked him, and I don't blame them, he is SUPER good looking and so sweet sure I talk to him sometimes, but there is really no chance at all that I will end up with him, maybe if he was forced against his will maybe...he knows that I like him, and he still is nice to me sometimes. He is just probably doing that because he feels sorry for me...WHICH I absolutely HATE it when guys do that i mean guys, if you know a girl likes you, do what you feel is right around that girl and don't do anything because you feel sorry for her, thats just making things worse

You see the same people for four years, you go on trips together, go to football games together, and perform together. It's easy to make friends in band, and it's even easier to date people you've become friendly with.
Plus, you've got someone to cuddle with on game nights. ;D

Yeah, um... the last three people I've liked have been in band. What's worse, they were all in the drumline... I think that it has something to do with the fact that we're always together, and when you're crammed into a bus with someone for hours every week, you tend to learn a lot about them.
And then start to like them.

Because you spend so much time together! And band peope are sexy!
There's a bass drummer who is the hottest / most perfect guy EVER. So many girls last year thought he was the hottest freshman. And I was lucky enough to go out with him last year <3! Sadly, that ended... But we are still really good friends! ^_^

IDK But is it just me or do woodwinds seem to date brass a lot? I dated a brass, two actually and quite frankly I'm sticking to outside band relationships. You see them every fricken day, and then at practice, then at the football game and then the next day a a contest or a parade. I would get tired of having to look at that person everyday.

bus rides. sitting next to someone in the dark for 2+ hours every week eventually leads to other things.
