...Well, sorta.
The night before last, a friend of mine had a dream that involved people in an office building getting touched by an invisible creature that caused rapid decay upon contact. This friend was freaked by seeing the flesh of people be ripped off during the decay.
Now, a while back -a long while back- I had a similar dream. This was different in that, to an extent, I could see that the creatures were airborne and very aerodynamic (I've been calling them "sylphs" for lack of a better word). They seemed to be heading towards civilization, and caused rapid decay to both the forest and a random frog I was "zoomed in" on.
We were both a bit perturbed by how similar these dreams were, so now I'm asking you all: Have any of you had dreams like this?
I'd offer an explanation, but I'm not sure you'd believe it...

I've never had a dream like that, but a circle of us share dreams. It's been cut down to three or four of us. We've been sharing the same dreams even before ever having met each other, all about the same dark figure- for years. The shared dreams always have something of a supernatural nature in them, or something extremely evil. Sometimes even having shared dreams of something that happened in the past or something that is going to happen in the future, especially if one of us is a part of it.

So you think what my friend and I are experiencing could be precognitive, sort of like two seers seeing the same future? Honestly, it's only recently that we've even met, and I haven't had that dream for at least a few months...

Honestly, it's only recently that we've even met, and I haven't had that dream for at least a few months... Well, it really depends. It could be precognitive, but it could also be just a shared dream (although shared dreams usually have a meaning). We sometimes have shared dreams about things, seen the exact same faces/events, but nothing ever came of it- or are waiting for whatever "it" is to happen, but it usually seems to take its time (like a cheesy horror movie that's trying to build up suspense). Sometimes when some people have the/a "gift/curse" (it's what we've grown used to calling it; it's a very double edged sword; most of the time more of a curse than a gift) there's a tendency to be an extremely deep bond between them, like having found part of yourself, or a brother or sister. It could simply be that connection or bond that's causing you to have shared dreams. This is just the semi-logical explanation that I can think of. (Now in my personal opinion, I believe that you and your friend might very well be having precognitive dreams. Maybe not to the effect of sylphs- which are only elementals as far as I know- causing death/decay to many people, but maybe more to both your subconscious' telling you that something catastrophic is going to happen that will involve the death of many people, since the subconscious mind loves to use riddles and symbolism to try and tell you something- although it isn't surprising, because demonoid activity as of late has been through the roof... I only called them "sylphs" because I couldn't think of a better word when I "saw" them (it was kinda like how stealth is portrayed in movies, sometimes; you know,how the object becomes so transparent you can only see an outline if you're REALLY observant?). They looked very aerodynamic, not exactly like birds or airplanes...Sort of like flying crescents. As for PMing, I will do that. However, I kinda think an AIM chat would be a better idea, since I'm not sure this other friend has Gaia. sweatdrop
