i've felt so torn about which syaoran sakura should fall for. i'm somewhat leaning towards the original syaoran because it was his heart that made the clone a more rounded being. he made the empty shell become loving, caring, etc. technically sakura fell for the original syaoran because his essence was put into the clone. plus when the original syaoran took back the other half of his heart, the clone became empty once again with only a thirst for feathers left.
but then again sakura grew up with the clone syaoran. and he did develop some interests, archeology, and traits that were his own. however, he did not retain them after losing part of the original syaoran's heart.
but then again, if the original syaoran is a descendant from clow reed, then wouldn't that mean they are related by blood? and if sakura's biological father was clow reed then wouldn't sakura and the original syaoran be related by blood as well? then if sakura and the original syaoran got together wouldn't that be inbreeding? >.>;;
i hope i didn't confuse anyone sweatdrop

I see your points, and that's why I have a hard time with this too.
I still can't figure out what Sakura plans to do once they find the clone Syaoran, because he doesn't have his heart. Even if Sakura was like "I LOVE YOU!" he wouldn't magically become nice again. He's a clone. He has programing.
My vote is with the original Syaoran. I always feel so sorry for him, because he obviously still likes her but she's really cold to him. He's not like Kurogane who can brush off the spite he gets from Fai and move on. Syaoran seems to be genuinely hurting at times.

But then again the Real Syaoran said the feelings you had for them came from you not me. He may care about Sakura but ultimately it was the clone that was the one in love with her. Now I'm sure that eventually they are going to save the clone's heart. And I think that Watanuki is going to have something to do with this.

Cloney. Cloney Cloney Cloney. I totally agree with Setzer's points about Watanuki too.
Sakura can't even look at R!Syaoran without thinking about his clone. And angsting. She doesn't love R!S, no matter how much he'd likely want to step right into C!Syaoran's empty shoes and be her knight. Pity for R!Syaoran, and the current state of C!Syaoran aside, Sakura does not love him. She's determined to get C!Syaoran back, not make sweet sweet monkey love with R!Syaoran. She's sealed herself off in a dream not for R!Syaoran's sake, as far as we can tell, but for the purpose of somehow getting "Syaoran" back.
Roooar. I deny R!Syaoran x Sakura. But I do think that R!Syaoran/Sakura is a very bittersweet and cute ship.

Yeah it's quite clear to whom Sakura's heart belongs. It's obvious that no matter how similar the real Syaoran is to how the clone Syaoran was before he lost his heart, the one Sakura loves and I believe always will love is the clone. It hurts her to see these similarities in the real Syaoran and at the same time know that he is not her Syaoran. Yet she still chose to be the one stabbed to save Syaoran, granted she did that not only to save his life but to save Fay and Kurogane's as well, and for that 50% chance of entering the dream world to attempt to return her Syaoran's heart. Now I have to say that took courage. She defied fate and whether or not she does manage to return her Syaoran's heart, she managed to save the lives of those three.
I am quite certain that Watanuki is definitely going to have something to do with returning that heart. Otherwise I doubt he would meet Sakura in the dream. And he seems to have a connection with the real Syaoran as Syaoran's headache(?) in Tsubasa seems to have been caused by Watanuki hearing Syaoran constantly telling him to not disappear in xxxHolic.

maybe Watanuki is the reincarnation of Clow Reed...or something like that.
What if they were Father and Son....watanuki's parents died at an early age-as did Sakura's dad..... oh the possibilities.....
