Yes, I know some of you in this guild do not dress in the stereotypical "emo" style.
But to those of you who do dress like I do, or in any other way ("goth," "skater,", etc.), tell Miss Jirika what your parents think of how you dress.
My parents aren't too happy with the way I dress. xD But eh, whatever, they accept it.
So, dear Emo Guild...how do you dress, and what do your parents think of it?

well i dress emo, on occasion goth, and my dad isnt really aware enough to notice, and my mom, well isnt to happy and wants me to wear brighter clothing

Ya I wear pretty much anything me and my parents agree on. There flexible and I'm flexible with our choices. Even though sometimes we have our disagreements. We still get through it and decide on a comprimise, xd I win most of the time out of disagreeing so much.My Grandma doesnt like my Osiris shoes though because they have skulls on it and it looks like I drew them. I find it funny

My mum doesn't care she likes it.
The most she says is 'I was wearing things like that at your age/your nan used to wear her hair/clothes like that.'
All she doesn't like is my piercings, especially my tounge.

If I could dress how I fully wanted to....I'd be Visual.
But my mum says I'd "look like a freak around all these white people."<----her exact words
But she won't even let me get any kind of piercings.
Like, I can't get my ears pierced.
But I dress how I want mostly.
Which consist of jeans & some type of cute shirt.
