evil evil I always hate this When I ask a person if they like Panic! At The Disco and if their fans and they say yes then I ask them what song they like they say "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" then I what other songs they like and they just stand there looking at me like I have 3 heads. Really the only reason they know the song is because it was on TV and on the radio. I really wish I would come across a person in real life who knows more then one song by them. There were a few people I meet but only like a few. I'm close to making my friend like them.

Yeah, a lot of people nowdays consider themselves fans of bands in general if they like the one or two songs they've heard of them on the radio. I have some friends like that, and the other few friends of mine who have their album just have it because they like to drool over P!ATD's good looks. It kinda sucks. stare But what can you do? I'm sure P!ATD has a lot of true fans, but I'm almost certain there's even more non-fans. Seriously, every six grader at my school ran around singing I Write Sins, Not Tragdies when it came out, screaming how hot they thought the guys were. It's very depressing. Luckily, I hadn't listened to them a year ago, when they were really popular, so I didn't see the horrors of the scenrio.

They're not that popular here... IWSNT was a hit for a little while, but not to the point where EVERYONE knew they were. Just a lot of people. But It's Better If You Do was on TMF (which is kind of like MTV) pretty often for about a month... and after that it's like Panic! drifted off into non-existence over here.
I don't know any die hard fans. One of my friends, who came with me to Pukkelpop last year and saw them live, likes them a lot and listens to their other songs too. But other than that I don't think I know anyone who likes them much or knows more than a few songs...

I hate that.. but here is Mexico where the music arrives later is worst.. I'm one of the few people who has MTV from USA. The mexican MTV is too late in videos so I knew Panic! before than everyone here. The worst part is that the video that everyone saw of p!atd is Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off. Not a lot of people know about I write sins not tragedies...
I ask do u like p!atd? yes
what's your favorite song..? ahmm lying.. is the most fun...blah blah I don't remember the name is too long
come on!! it's easy to learn!!
they don't even know the name of the song xp

That happens here too! The names are so long, they don't remember them. But that's also because they're in English, with big words xp
And then I rattle song titles off, and everyone's like "...Yeah, that o_O"

And then I rattle song titles off, and everyone's like "...Yeah, that o_O" That happened to my friend and I. Everyday after we heard the song "There's A Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet" it took us such a long time to memorize the title then after like a week we finally got it.

I would kind of be a hypocrite here if I defend your point, because I found out about Panic! At The Disco's exsistance through the radio, listening to "I Write Sins." So at one point in my life, the only song I knew was "Sins" that was by Panic! At The Disco. But now of course, I know all of their songs, and all of their covers. 3nodding I would not get mad at someone if I met them and they have only heard "Sins," because simply not everyone will be able to listen to every song by Panic! At The Disco. But if they were to call themselves a dedicated fan while only knowing one song, that's a different story.

I understand it's just that it's they say "OMG I LOVE THEM" and that's the only song they ever heard also a lot of them (mostly girls) only care cause of their looks. It seems as though it's not for the music they love them but only cause of their looks. Also P!ATD has been around for about 2 years now I would be pretty disappointing if that was the only song they knew.

I usually don't let stuff like that bother me. If they like one song, it's an opportunity to educate them about the band in general.

Well, to me, it doesn't really matter. The more fans, the better right? But it does get annoying when these kids are like OMG PANIC! RULEZ and then they only know like 2 songs.

I don't mind if I meet people and they only like "I Write Sins..." or "Lying Is The Most Fun..." or one of the other popular songs. Unless those people call themselves a true Panic! fan... then I get a little ticked off at them. Also, again, if they're only there for the good-lookings guys then I don't like them much either.
I luckily have a friend in my neighborhood who is a HUGE Panic! fan and she loves them as much as I do! We'll be on the bus listening to their songs... then we'll be like "OMG did you see such and such?!" -drool- Lol.
(Also in the winder my friend always writes "Panic! At The Disco" on the bus window when it's fogged up. She also wrote Mrs. Ryan Ross as a joke before he started dating Keltie...)

I came upon a non-fan on gaia. He has heard of them because his friend likes them. And OMG! I think I could sufficate him with hugs! He knows who Ryan and Brendon are. (I'm not sure if he knows about Jon or Spence.) I've also had a conversation with him about Ryan's sweet make-up skillz. I think I love him. (Not seriously, but he is cool.)
