This is an offshoot of the "Faithless Followers" thread. WHAT makes a person sexy? And ESPECIALLY what makes anime characters sexy? I know girls who will roll their eyes at me when I or someone else says that an anime guy is hot, because, as someone I know says "They are just PIXELS, HOW can they be hot?" Well I know why pixels can be hot-they highlight a physical or personality trait that we would like to find in a guy that we could date for real. Sesshoumaru is hot to me because he is tall and has regal bearing, seems both powerful and graceful in a fight, has cool hair, isn't a loud-mouth, and is mysterious. So what is it for anyone who would like to post? What do you think is sexy, how much of that is physical and how much relates to your perception of personality?

What I value most in a girl is innocence, sweetness, submissiveness, a willingness to put me first, patience for my narcisism, an understanding of me and it doesn't hurt if they're totally gulible and still fall for the same old tricks after 4 years. X-D A devotion to me and me alone is probably the single most desirable trait. I would find it hard to tolerate living with someone that finds someone else sexier than I, not out of narcisism but out of having to wonder if she's ever thinking of that person when she's with me. Clumsiness is nice, as is a touch of massochism. There are many other things I like but then the thread would cease to be PG-13.
In terms of body type, I always prefer short girls. Outside of that, there are two kinds that I especially like. The first is the tiny little Japanese girl body with the wide, splayed hips, the tiny waist, the small, firm little breasts with the larger nipples, flat tummy, and thick, gorgeous, raven hair that stops just at the base of an incredibly elegant and slender neck. A fair and creamy smooth skin tone always compliments every part of this body and the dark, sexy eyes, full cheeks and long, tapering, graceful, delicate fingers that terminate in a small, feminine hand atteached to short and slender limbs completes the image of one perfect form.
The other is the curly red hair, that I have come to like. Long or short haired, the hair must either be pulled up or cropped to end around the collar bone or be in pigtails. Blue, green, grey, or any of the above combination is very important for the eye color and the eyes must be big and innocent. As for the skin, the paler the better and small hands and feet are a must. Fuller breasts than the above and a slender waist and thighs are always a plus. Wide hips help to balance and complete the image.
And those two are, in my mind, the two perfect female bodies.

I haven't answered this thread yet.
Maybe because I can get a bit unrealistic when it comes to thinking of a "sexy"/"perfect" guy.
Personality and Looks are the two major keys I'll touch on.

For Personality, my greats dream would be to find someone... yes this sounds cliche.... "dark and mysterious". Guys who've had something about them that I just could never figure out, appeal to me greatly.
Though now, on the opposite side, I do like guys who are open, fun loving and can joke around about things.
^^;;
Looks... looks...
For the Mysterious guy, I've always pictured him taller then me. Black hair and green eyes are the greatest combination on this world for men. Too bad it's so rare. ;_;
For the fun loving guy, he really, can be anything. Slim, yes, though it doesn't matter if they work out or not. Any hair and eyes (though black hair and green eyes! I need them! <33 )

You're very specific, Avino...
My preference is for a guy or girl who I feel safe with, but there's also that spark of excitement between us. So much better if it's love rather than just desire.
edit: Intelligence is also very important. Gotta be able to have conversations.

I like to feel secure with a guy.
Not someone who isn't ashamed of being around my silliness.
I can be pretty loud and silly sometimes.
Intelligence is a must.
I want to be able to keep a good conversation with someone.
I find boldness attractive.
Ya know, like when you go to a show, he wouldn't be afraid of going into the pit or at least won't stand in the back of the crowd.
Shyness is cute every now and then.
Appearance doesn't matter much to me, just as long as he's taller than me.
That person also has to be his own person, and not following the usual trends. [My pet peeve]
Oh, and I can't forget kindness.
I love nice guys, just as long as they aren't too nice.

Well I'll be damned. I guess I DIDN'T mention it.
Above, I meant to say that the above types I described are only perfect (in my mind) if they suit the personality of the person that goes with them. I think it's more important for one's body type to fit their personality than to have one of the above body types, but of course personality, by itself, trumps all of the above.

I think I've waited long enough that most people who are going to vote have already done so. In case any of you were wondering, here's how I feel I fall in the breakdown.
"intelligent"
I feel that I have made my wit, intellect, and insight quite apparent. I'd say that this one suits me more than the rest. It also seems that this has the most votes. You have pleased me by making this the most prominent and oft-chosen feature.
"strong"
Physically? Ha ha...That's what I have minions for.
"dark and mysterious"
More in appearance than in practice; I am far to willing to explain myself, though due to the unusual nature of the workings of my mind most people still don't really understand.
"sweet or kind, dependable"
I'm full of empty charm and sociopathic tendencies, but if you really need me (and I like you) I suppose I can summon these things up from somewhere within myself.

Under the right circumstances.

Anyways...
What makes a person sexy, hm?
Well, first of all, intelligence. I don't want to have a conversation with a brick wall everytime I talk to them is key. They needn't be the smartest person on Earth, but at least be of slightly above average intelligence. The smater, the better. I highly admire brains.
Next, personality. Friendly, kind, open, warm, understanding, sweet, patient, nice.. Someone who is confident is also important. Not very much, just as long as they can be themselves, yknow? I've always been a fan of the 'outsiders'. But I'm also a sucker for shy people, too. Gotta have a sense of humor. Witty and clever, too. A touch of trouble-maker/risk-taker is pretty appealing as well. I can't stand preps, emos and gangsters, though I try to keep an open mind. (I'll probably add to this as I think of more lols)
Also, we must have some interest(s) in common. I just can't find someone who doesn't like anything I do (and I like a lot, so that's hard to do) appealing. I'm so glad I have a wide variety of interests ^_^; And it doesn't really matter how small, just some common connection, yknow?
Looks really aren't all that important to me. I've always been a sucker for crystal blue eyes, though. Green eyes as well. Hair color doesn't really matter, as long as it goes with the rest of their look, yknow? Hair length.. Just as long as I can run my hands through it. Body type.. Doesn't matter, honestly. Let's see...
Clothes! Yes, I must say one thing about clothes. Guys, wear your pants around your waist, not your knees, please. I do also like the goth/punky look. And black is sexy.
Another thing, mainly about the three types I mentioned earlier. Preps I can't stand. I mean the snobby rich types who can just throw away money on petty things. Gangters.. Well, Bling-bling, grillz, droopy pants... Just... No. Emos. Okay, I don't mean the tight-pants-wearing-eye-liner-and-makeup-spiky-hair people. I mean the type that make up their own problems. Not people with actual problems. I mean people like my ex-boyfriend. Everyday, our phone conversation went like, "Hi Keiko! I'm really depressed. I hit my mom and she grounded me for a week! How unfair is that! I think I'll just cut myself and die. Or maybe smoke and drink. That will help. Oh, by the way, will you have sex with me? It will make my life so much better!" -.- THAT kind of emo. (Yes, I'm serious. That is how our conversation went. Every. Single. Day.)
I do have a thing for Asians and Italians. I think it's the tan and olive skin tones. And the hair. I do like dark hair with tan skin.
Accents. Ohmigosh, I love accents. Any kind. Sersiously.

A man of mystery, with few words but when he does speak everyone around him listens , a man not afraid to say whats on his mind someone who respects me , a brilliant man that can show me things i never thought were possible. someone i can fall for and admire. Romantic and sweet, but they must have a rowdy temper.. (i always like to be the one to calm them down xD) + Like this man..:  that would be the PERFECT man<33

Hmmm...
Personality: He must respect me and be kind/caring/[insert cliche here]... He also must be willing to put me before anyother. Being a open-minded and funny is a must, although they have to be serious sometimes (thats where my boyfriend and I run into a lot of problems it seems). Being a bit arrogant is fine, but they can't be too awful full of themselves, which I have yet to find a guy I've liked to be too arrogant. He has to atleast tolerate my friends. Definite no to the emo, jock, and prep stereotypes. We have to have a LOT in common. I could not stand someone who is really religious and preaches to me. Thats the biggest turn-off ever. I think I'm getting a bit off topic of personality, but to sum it all up: He has to be respectful to me if he expects it in return, open-minded and ready to discuss some things. He HAS to have a brain. Arrogance is a plus, but not too much.
Looks:
He must be taller than me!! Dark hair. Not a fan of guys with blonde hair, except a few. I love any color eyes, but they have to have depth. (I cant really describe it) Being stronger than me is always a plus. I agree with Kat completely. Accents are extremely sexy, but not a must. I think British and southern accents are damn sexy (for southern accent:like Matthew Mcconaughey).

Thats a quality usually ascribed to the more spastic type. Quite a disparity from the rest of what you described. I'd say one who is of many words is far superior, so long as he knows how to wield said words as though they were a sword, or speak them from a silver tongue coated in honey. This is what truly makes others listen to you, not the rarity with which you speak...But then I suppose there are those that simply don't have as much to say as others. Sweetie, I must assure you that you have not described me at all, therefore it would be completely impossible for that to be the perfect man. As for the poll...Hmmm, this is disappointing. Intelligence has dropped to number two (whereas I feel that, creativity and perhaps personality aside, intellect should be second to nothing) and still no votes for elegant regal? Disheartening, indeed...Then again, I wonder how the poll would look if it has other important things such as beauty, creativity, personality, artistic talent, complexity, sophistocation, life-experienced, and well-spoken articulation, without the misleading line after it (for one that writes a song for a woman is far more likely to be a number of things. Musically inclined is one, being someone with not a thing in his life worthwhile aside from said woman, thus one of little complexity). I would hope to see that beauty isn't the most important element to anyone, (least of all with all of the other interesting new choices) but I suppose it should be there, all the same...What do you think?

Hmmm....funny this is here. My friends and I were just discussing this, and by our logic, we have concluded thus:
Only real men...
-are blond (platinum, preferably)
-are slightly effeminate
-have somewhat androgynous facial features
-wear tight pants
Because of these guidelines, we have also decided that the only male to ever come close to this ideal was David Bowie when he played Jareth in the movie Labyrinth.
But in all seriousness, the ideal man should be sensible, if not intelligent, and interesting. And have a sense of humor.
Oh, and before I forget, the ideal man should either not be a serial killer or should be one that only kills other serial killers...or other really bad people...or people I really don't like.
