Seriously, beer brings out flavor. Ever have beer battered chicken? Way good. The question is which beer is the best to use? Because I've drunken it before and its not that pleasant (my opinion), but I love it in food. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Tipsy-Chicken/Detail.aspx

Stick to Budweiser until you find a beer that you happen to like or ask around.
I personally hate to drink Bud but it tastes great when used w/ food.

When I cook with beer, I generally use whatever's in the house. Usually Budweiser, though I've used Pacifico too when I was in a pinch.
My grandmother used to use Coors when making beer bread.

Whatever has the strongest flavor. I like the flavor it gives, but I don't like beer itself. Or anything alcoholic. Try cooking crabs in beer and vinegar, you can water it down to taste, oh and add Old Bay seasoning to it.
