I thought this would be a fun way to get some creative juices flowing. A friend and I used to do this kinda thing with shows when we were younger.
EDIT: Yes yes I changed the title so people would understand the point right away. =D
What type of person would your dream companion for the Doctor be?
Would they be funny? Serious? Tough? Male or female? Human or possibly alien?
Tell us all what type of person you think would make the best match!

I don't think species matters that much, but the person should be curious. Curious, clever, open to new things, understanding, and compassionate.

Finn Malcolm Muskratio My dream companion is Jamie. He's already happened. D: Oh yer no fun. D=Okay, well, my dream companion is someone who's interesting but not necessarily brave or intelligent or impressive or whatever. I prefer real characters to characters who are overflowing with "good" qualities. I also really like character that AREN'T from the current time period - characters from the past or from another planet always tend to be my favorites, because then they have room to learn and it's more interesting. (:

Nope. He's had several companions from the past and from the future, and some non-human companions too.
Y'know who I really would've liked to see as a companion? Sally Sparrow or Professor Yana. Or both. They were so cool.

Yana was the blue alien chick from Utopia, right? Yeah...She was neat. xD But her way of talking just might get on my nerves after a while....But Sally was definitely cool.

Right episode, wrong character. Chantho was the blue alien girl. The old man (played by the absolutely amazing Derek Jacobi) was Yana.
I couldn't stand Chantho. D:

Yes I know he was but I really liked the human version of him, before he opened the watch. So they should go back in time, stop him from opening the watch, and let him be a companion. 8D

Just making sure you realized that. xD I kinda liked the new Master. He amused me greatly and inspired the name of my art freebies Thread. =D It might have been interesting to see him as a semi companion/prisoner. I'm wondering if all of the Classic Who watchers got mega shivers when Prof. Yana was all, "I am the MASTER!"

I'm just sad that we only got to see Derek Jacobi for one episode. He is sooooo amazingly good.
I haven't gotten to see any of the classic epsiodes with the Master yet. sad But I like to think that did inspire some shivers.

I've never heard of most of the Doctor Who people before. Except for Penelope Wilton (Harriet Jones) and Simon Pegg (The Editor from the Ep, The Long Game). They're from Shaun of the Dead. xDD
