Has anyone ever wished they picked another instrument to play instead of your current instrument?
I have a trumpet friend that wished to be on the drumline.
I personally don't because I love the drumline, but I wish all the other snares would stop being so hyper because I feel like the odd one out when they do sweatdrop . HEADBANGING HURTS MAH BRAINZ!!!!!!! Why, oh why can't they understand that and quit telling me to headbang...

But does anyone out there want to change instruments? If you do, is it possible to change it?

Personally I'd never switch. I play trumpet, and have for six years. Both my parents were trumpet players, and I'm in love with it. I can be heard x3
I have a friend though, a drummer, that is supposed to be learning to play trumpet off of one of my friends, cause apparently the other drummers are mean to him or something...or they're all just crazy.
But yeah, I wouldn't give up trumpet for anything.

NOt really, I'm pretty happy playing Tuba. I wouldn't trade mah tuba for anything.

Yeah Tuba sucks ^^ I am a Euphonium player, but in middle school my BD switched me, and sophomore year I could of switched, but my BD said no because there was a possibility that he would need a good tuba my senior year (now) and would you know it, my section sucks, except for me ^^ Im gonna do all district and college on euphonium.

I play tenor sax, and I love it, because I'm one of the only ones (the other girl's there because I needed a friend xp ), but I've always wanted to be in percussion. More specifically, the pit. I might ask my BD if I can switch in concert season. 3nodding

I have thought about changing instruments, but I probably never will - I <33 my flute. ^__^
I considered switching to alto sax, but decided not to.

There is nothing better than being on the line, but sometimes i wish i could play a low brass instrument during concert season cuz there are so many percussionists during concert season that there aren't enough parts to go around.

i heart my flute but sometimes i wish i picked french horn or mellophone. the coils on the french horn are sooo pretty.

Well I started off on the clarinet, which I did not want to play. I wanted to play the french horn but my uncle wouldn't let me borrow his, and we already owned a clarinet so...and then when I got into middle school I switched to alto sax which I guess I like, but I still want to play the french horn but my BD wouldn't let me borrow one over the summer so I could teach myself....But he said he'll help me learn it this year which is actually going to be weird seeing as no one's ever helped me learn an instrument before...

No way, I heart the alto sax. I do want to learn to play some other instruments, but the saxophone will always be my favorite. 3nodding
