Oh, right college...you mean that thing for which I'm supposed to be reading Beowulf for right now? Right...hmmm...not doing. It's only a week and a half into school and I'm already behind. I hate homework. Even worse, pointless reading of textbooks that you learn nothing from and have no idea whether you'll be tested on them or not, so you feel obligated to read them. Only I don't. And then I regret it. Grr. School. Grr. [/rant]

College in England generally refers to years 12 and 13 when the...building isn't associated with a high school (in which case it would be sixth form). Older universities also have college systems, whereby the university is divided into many smaller buildings with 'communities' of their own. Most notably Oxbridge (Oxford/Cambridge) and its many colleges.
And in America...it generally refers to university. 3nodding
I'm going to sixth form in September. ^^
Though I hate my school, so I'm considering college.

I tried that for a year. I got bored. I'm back in school. I'm still bored. And now I'm jobless. gonk @ Ikonik: In America college can also refer to the subdivisions within a University. Okay, I agree, it is far too confusing... xd

I just started my new semester today and thought about killing people/going crazy. gonk
Don't you guys hate the first day b.s. that is painstakingly slow and could totally have been over within a half-hour and not the whole class time?
I don't want to be in school this semester, and I didn't even want to be last semester. ><; I would like a break. Or to not have work and school at the same time...I'd LOVE to be without my job but my car insurance and the periodic feeding of myself I will have to do won't pay for themselves.
To keep my sanity though, I bought The Sims 2 Deluxe for use in study breaks...
I plan to create a vampire whorehouse. 3nodding
Because while I wouldn't have sex, imaginary people having imaginary "woo-hoo" is kinda funny.

I'm in the College of Engineering within the University of California, Berkeley. Yeaaah. There we go.
B&C, classes haven't begun yet for us. We have a Welcome Week to get us settled down, then classes start.

I think I may be disturbed by your sims-going-ons...
So, tomorrow is the last day of the second week at my school...and my Stats class is still doing obnoxious intro stuff...I passed AP Calc...what in the world am I doing in stats! *wails* gonk My school sucks. JC's suck. xp

Iko.... I would have loved to take Chemistry..
I LOVE science...
Physics...
Was awesome... Our teacher was great.. I would have taken Advanced Physics in the same year if I knew that my teacher allowed it!!

He was great..
Only had 6 people sign up for Advanced Physics so they didn't want it to be a class but he was teaching them anyway and doing it without getting paid for it.
All of the experiments he showed us were awesome.
And same with whatever science class I had in the 9th grade.
Both of those teachers were great.
