Gaia has changed SO MUCH in the past few months. Too much if you ask me. What is with all of this advertising crap? I didn't mind the anime promotions really, I mean it fits with the site. I thought the movie ads and quests were a tad retarded -- they were never anything I was interested in. And Magic the Gathering? Well I know that a lot of people are into that, so it wasn't SO bad.
But now they're promoting WRESTLING? What the hell, Gaia?
This is just getting retarded. I think my days here are numbered. I don't know how much longer I can tolerate the way things are going. =(

I feel the same way. scream I was really annoyed when I saw the wrestling thing... it doesn't fit at all with what Gaia says it's about: roleplaying and anime. Doesn't it make more sense to keep to those themes?

It's just so frustrating everytime I log on I see them promoting some other worthless something or other that I've never cared about and never will care about. The only thing so far that I've agreed with is them showing the 1st two episodes of random anime series in the cinemas. It at least fits with the theme of the website. They've sold out so badly it makes me sick. This is not the Gaia I knew and loved. sad

I have to agree with you Nuke.
Gaia's become such a sellout, and I don't find anything I should come back for, really. I don't even talk to anyone anymore, so I've basically lost all my friends.
I guess I'm only coming back for this guild, since it's the only one I post in anymore, and some people actually recognise me, or unless Gaia happens to step up and I somehow manage to meet some other amazing people. rolleyes

I think they're using the new MP in some way to curb inflation and bring it down.

I guess I'm only coming back for this guild, since it's the only one I post in anymore, and some people actually recognise me, or unless Gaia happens to step up and I somehow manage to meet some other amazing people. rolleyes Yeah, all I really do here anymore is check the guild once in a while, and it's not that active anymore. sad I have the gaia news feed on my LiveJournal friends page so I see when there are updates, and that's usually what makes me come on, but I'm almost always annoyed by whatever is posted. sad And this new layout seems to be giving me resource issues with my web browser. Sucks, cause I really like the design. sad
