Ok, first, I know this game just came out two days ago, so there's probably hardly anyone who has it. I need help though. I can't cut the stumps in my field. How do I do that. And Tori's love points won't go up. If anyone knows a good guild for this game, please tell me. 3nodding

There are two new harvest moon games coming out for ds in 2008 so im saving up for that. I wasn't interested in this one.

I haven't been playing that game for too long, so I'm not sure, but the HM games usually require that you upgrade your ax atleast once before you're able to cut stumps. Have you done that yet?

I talked to Leo and asked him to forge my watering can, but he said I didn't have the materials. 4 pieces of iron were required, and I had over 4 pieces of srap iron, but he wouldn't make it for me. Is scrap iron and iron the same thing? Is forging even the same thing as upgrading?

scrap iron is different then iron.

Where do you get iron? Can you find it in Carmite cave?

Yes, but it usually shows up farther in, like the 2nd or 3rd screen.
Chopping stumps takes 6 hits with a powered up level 2 ax. Although some people say that a dozen hits without powering up or upgrading will chop stumps. Haven't tried it yet. Too many RP. sweatdrop
On the upshot, the more you chop lumber, the better you get at it, and the fewer RP you use.

Well, if you don't have the Axe you can get it from Bianca.
If or when you do have the axe then you'll have to upgrade it before you can chop the stumps....
