I never knew that the December Love song was in English, I mean, I've seen the vid for it, but never thought of actually listening to it and out of the three that I went to, they're all in english
Anyways, when he sang in Mandarin of a christmas special thing, it just made my heart melt, cos I could understand it, though he still had a very strong accent with it, but it was SOOO kawaii!! heart whee

L.i.t.e.r.a.t.e Yeh, he's great at english. Right up there with Hyde and Miyavi. I hadn't known any of them actually really speak English. I've heard Gackt speak a little. Don't forget Yoshiki. He really knows English. Gackt reminds me mostly of Yoshiki, when he speaks English.

Gackt spent a few years learning English so he could communicate with his European audiances and, one day, (hopefully) a US audiance.
Miyavi learned it for the hell of it
Hyde & Yoshiki learned it for the same reason as Gackt. I saw L'arc life in 04 at the First Mariner Area on July 31st and his english wasn't that bad. The accent made it a little hard to understand but Hyde's improved greatly since then.
Miyavi and Gackt speak english very well. I haven't heard Yoshiki so I can't say anything about how well he speaks the language.

I have a clip somewhere on my computer where Gackt says in English that's he's feeling pretty good. It might be on YouTube somewhere though. But if anyone wants to watch it tell me. I'll upload it on YouTube and give you the link.

oh yeah.... i say his english is pretty good now. he sang December Love song (forgot how the japanese title goes... 12gatsu no love song?... i think.) but he sang that song in manderin and in korean as well... and i have to say, that his manderin is pretty good too! i can't compare korean, due to that i never tried to speak it. but yeah... he inspires me to go learn more languages. :XP: lol

Yea, Gackt can speak a bunch of languages. I've heard December Love Song in English, Japanese, Mandarin and Korean. In the making of vid for the song, he even writes something in English. There's vids on Youtube if you search for that song.

I think aside from English, Mandarin, and Korean, he's currently learning Chinese and German.
I have read somewhere that he also speaks French (Can anyone say Malice Mizer?) I think that's where a lot of their song titles came from

HYDE and Gackt spoke English in Moon Child.
Very little, and I couldn't understand Gackt that well when he said something about ninjas....
But HYDE said "Whooo! Good job!"

That's another thing amazing about Gackt.
He speaks many languages...such as Korean, Cantonese, French, English and of course Japanese.
