Please tell me someone other than me read Twilight and became addicted to it? My friend made me read it when the third book (Eclipse) came out and she was waiting for it to be delivered, so I read the first two books (New moon is the second one) in two days... ._. Then when she finished Eclipse, I read it... So addicting!! And, it makes you want to write... >>
Ahem, so for anyone who reads it... What do you love about it, who are some of your favorite/most despised characters etc... Twilight discussions! No spoilers though, in case someone is still reading them (or will). 3nodding
I (like too many others) love Edward (um, who wouldn't?) and I think Emmett is way too funny, especially in Eclipse. Then again, Bella is really funny and clumsy. rofl

EEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! *extreme fan girl squeal* OMG!! I love the Twilight series!!!! Actually, I read the last book in like 2-3 days. Heh, it is addicting.
Lesse, what I love about it...aside from everything. I like how the plots are always so compelling. It's not overly simple that you get bored but its not too complicated that you get lost as to what's going on. Also, I love the romance of course! And how Bella is so human. Among the mix of vampires, werewolves and other mythical creatures that they choose to bring up, there's one average person. It keeps everything in perspective. And for once, its not a heroine that I despise...though I will admit she has been known to do some pretty stupid things. Lol, but that's normal.
As far as characters, I love all the Cullens and Bella and Jacob and the others. I can't really say there's any character that I hate. The author(ess) has done a wonderful job of developing character personalities and background stories. It's very well rounded. *nods sagely*
xd Haha, Bella's clumsy. That makes me laugh every time. Some of the quotes concerning her clumsiness are so amusing like how Edward comments that she's only afraid of school dances because of her inability to cross a flat floor without tripping. Or how when she comes home with a hurt hand, Charlie's just like "what did she do this time" and the whole scenario following.
After reading Eclipse, I guess I like Alice a lot more. I love her enthusiasm for parties and gifts and trying to dress Bella up. Heh, of course Edward is still my number one fave and Bella second.
Lol, I could prolly go on forever...I'll wait though....*takes a deep breath*

Except I could literally not drop the books when I was reading them... >.> ninja
Edward's my number one too ^-^ Jacob has his ups and downs, sometimes you just can't believe what he does... @@ But then again you have to understand... sweatdrop
And yeah, the plot is definitely on the fine line between boring/exciting and overly simple vs complicated. razz That's what makes this such a good series!!
Darn now I can't wait for the next book >0< of course I'm sure I'll forget all about them in college... but once next summer rolls around... whee

wow, you guys sound so enthused about it that i'm sorta getting interested, though the thought of it being an ongoing series kinda makes me cautious since i'd hate the anticipation if i really did get into it....

Have you checked Stephanie Meyer's website recently? They picked an Edward already. It's that guy who was Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movie. I'm curious to see how this movie is going to turn out...They are supposed to start filming in February I think.
