STORY:

In the year 4023 A.D. The Terran Republic was formed Most of the planets that were populated by humans, now called Terrans. Ten years later, Most of the Republic's planets, along with 90% of the terran population, were destroyed by an enemy Known as the Drathonians. The Drathonians are a reptillian race that had pretended to be friendly with the Terrans, Only to stab them in the back as hard as possible.

Now, in 4047 A.D. Or 14 P.T. (post-terra) The Last pockets of the terran Republic and their allies the Altresians are in danger of being wiped out, Since they are outnumbered nearly 5,000 to one. But all Hope is not lost, As the brightest Terran engineers and designers have built a weapon capable of fighting back. It is Known as the Terra class Battle cruiser, One of the largest Space ships ever built by the Republic. Armed to the teeth and ready to kick some Drathonian tail, the first ship, the "Battle Hymn" is launched in the fray as Terra's last stand.

Join the epic plot of the Terran's last hope and defend Humanity in it's last, greatest stand against it's most horrible foe, the evil Drathonians, who are trying to quell an uprising in their empire. It will be a fun Hi-tech space adventure of great proportions.

I'm kind of interested. Is magic involved at all though?

Main races:

*Note on the races: There are only terrans and Drathonians right now
because the drathonians have wiped out and/or enslaved all other races in the galaxy. Also, only Terrans are currently playable. As the plot
continues more races may become available.

(Main PC race)Terrans: Humans from various backgrounds, They are primarily the same as modern humans, with the most major difference being that they are stronger and faster. Terrans are smarter than drathonians, and terran equipment is far superior, their only problem is that there isn't very much of it. Of course, There aren't many Terrans to use it anyway.

(NPC enemy race)Drathonians: Drathonians are basically lizardmen, standing halfway
between erect and quadrupedal. Thay can become quadrupedal to run at
their top speed, which is greater than that of humans, but only for
short bursts before they overheat and must stop. All Drathonians have a
longe tail which can be used in close quarters as a weapon. Having
scaly skin, they deem it unnecesary to wear any armor of any kind.
Their tech is based on the principle of quantity over quality, and ease
of mass production.

(NPC/PC helper race)Altresians: The Altresian are from the grand planet Altres. Altresians are athletic-bodied humanoids, with light tan skin, golden blonde hair, and cyan eyes. The planet is governed by the Holy Altresian Empire, which glorifies two ideals: war and religion. Altresian battle tactics are second to none and their faith knows no bounds. However, the Altresians can be over zealous, resulting in countless crusades over its history. The current "abomination" of their god, Altrei, are the Drathonians. The Altresians believe that it is their divine duty to liberate the Terrans, and any other race, from the Drathonian plague. *created by:Solomon Marquis*

Not so much classes as military ranks right now, though other elements might be integrated into the story. Thre main theme is scifi, not fantasy.

On topic, this looks interesting so far. Hope you actually make the RP.

I'm not one for thinking up classes, help with that would be awesome, and I do agree that they make characters more detailed.
