This is another sort of contest we're doing within the guild. Once again, you join by being in the guild.

Each month, I'll ask for nominations for the spotlight. On the first of the next month, all mods will get together and vote on which of the nominations should be that month's spotlight. There will be no monetary prize, simply the honor of being spotlighted.

Rules for nominations:

-Anyone can nominate and anyone's story can be nominated (this includes the mods and I)
-The story being nominated must have been posted in the month that the spotlight is for (ex: you can't nominate a work that was posted in December for March's spotlight).
-You may nominate your own story, but only one per month. So, if you nominate yourself, be sure to pick your best story.
-The spotlight is for short stories only, no poetry or novels.
-You are limited to 3 nominations a month. This may change.
-I must recieve nominations for the August spotlight by Noon CST on the first of September. The voting will commence, and the winner will be announced sometime on the second.
