soooo... i saw a really cool riddle forum and decided to start my own. so here goes!
what holds a golden treasure, but has no hinges or clasps?
(this is my favorite riddle that i can remember mrgreen )

I found a good riddle today! So...*puts on riddler costume* Riddle me this:
Romeo and Juliet are found dead on the floor in a bedroom. When they were discovered, there were pieces of glass and some water on the floor. The only furniture in the room is a shelf and a bed. The house in is a remote location, away from everything except for the nearby railway track. What caused the death of Romeo and Juliet?

*puts on batman costume*
Juliet pretended to be dead, so Romeo smashed a bottle of water over his head, and when Juliet woke up, she got out of bed, stood up and slipped on the water, smashed her head on the shelf (giving her a massive concussion) and then fell backwards onto the glass. Then Romeo didn't really die, he was just knocked out and as he got up, he to fell backwards on the glass and died as a shard went through his spine.
The end!

wow, i thought this thread was dead. cool!
i have another riddle kinda like monster's:
two sisters were at a funeral, where they saw a cute guy. a week later, one of the sisters was killed by the other. why did the sister kill her?
(if you cant get this... well then it would be just sad)
